Gaggia Coffee Machine 'Perfect Crema' Filter Pin

I have a Breville Barista Express Espresso Machine and it worked great with the OEM stock portafilter, even though the machine is not made by Gaggia. I had sputtering issues at the spouts on my portafilter, now I just have smooth, consistent, crema. This 5 dollar part basically saved my machine, even though it's made by a different brand!

So excited to find these on Amazon. Very easy to lose these down disposable when cleaning out basket so I got a couple of extras. Fits perfectly in my Gaggia Classic espresso maker.

I bought this item after tapping the coffee puck into the trash and the coffee basket opened and this small piece went flying. I was able to find it, but felt it prudent to have a spare on hand. This small piece of plastic helps with the crema as the espresso brews. Not wanting to miss a coffee break, I am now ready with the spare part.

Not much to say. We were moving and accidentally threw out this attachment because we hadn't used it for a long time given we bought a bottomless portafilter. I recently found a real good decaf French Roast that comes in the market ground. So, i needed to use this with the Gaggia portafilter and was very pleased to find i could order the brand name product on Amazon. It is quality

A necessity for a Gaggia Classic

Easy to lose but glad replacements are for sale here. Had to knock a star off bc of microplastics probably shed here from normal use. Anyhows u get ur crema from whatever the grind is. And yeah I coulda splurged for the steel one but I didn't.
