Solid piece of gear you should have.
These are not amazing but they are very handy to have. My last Dremel, a 4000, lasted around 12 years. I think that’s a pretty good value considering there’s not much price difference from back then to today. In fact, I feel like I gave even a little less for the 4300 I got today. I use mine every couple months or so. The only reason my 4000 burned out is because I was too hard on it. I had to cut out about 15’ of vinyl flooring from underneath a cabinet. I ran it wide open for over an hour. It was very hot and I tried to let it cool a few times but couldn’t due to other reasons. I overused the tool but it did the job. It’s been about a week and a half ago and I needed it today. Old Dremel is spent and I had to buy this one. I used it tonight and it did good, exactly how I expected it to run. Hindsight, I should have bought an electric die grinder to do the floor. Side note, I took the flex shaft off my old Dremel and put it on this one, worked good. I also took the knurled knob collet off this one and put it on the flex head, it also worked well. These will last if you don’t abuse them. I’ll update if something goes wrong.

Very good kit
Very nice case, well built to hold all the attachments and accessories. My last dremel was a cordless and I've had it over 10 years. I decided to upgrade to a corded more powerful one. Very pleased and the added attachments are a great help and makes the tool even more useful

Great tool. Great customer service
Revised Feb 26th. I previously reported that Dremel is sending me a new light module and battery compartment. I haven't received it yet but have since learned that the batteries are no longer replaceable. It's odd that they didn't know that when I reported that I could not get to the battery compartment. Nevertheless, I'm still happy with my tool. What a wonderful tool. I had a light duty Dremel rotary tool that was not suitable for the Tiki pole I'm making. It kept turning itself off. This Dremel 4300 does the job. Prior to buying it I considered getting a 1/4" die grinder and corresponding set of bits/burrs. Fortunately, that won't be necessary. Also, the Dremel 4300 arrived with a defective screw in the light module. I contacted Dremel and they immediately shipped me a replacement, at no charge. That's great customer service.

A must have tool
There's a tool for every purpose then there's a Dremel which is the tool for so very many purposes. I got it for a specific project but since have discovered how much more this tool can do (I know, crazy I had never used one before, now I can't imagine not having one). Glad I bought this set that had multiple accessories which was more economical and helped me use this tool to it's full potential. Yes there are similar cheaper, other brand models which you can use if you weren't planning to do much with it but the features and quality on this Dremel are superior once I compared it with those of friends. I think it will make it last longer and I feel it performs better with a variety of projects. Being able to adjust the speed is essential for control and the flex shaft makes it easier to work on smaller projects or engraving as you can hold the tool like a pen. I've used it to clean, polish, sharpen tools, carve wood, sand, engrave, do craft work and more. The kit comes with a nice small selection of bits which is good for a starter kit though I quickly found I needed more to do a wider variety of projects and I wore them out from use. Luckily you can easily get reasonably priced compatible ones online as I've found hardware/ big box stores don't seem to carry many bits. Very happy with this purchase.

My daily go to
Best item I have bought in a long time. This tool does so much and comes with so many things to make woodworking easier for me. The flex shaft is a life saver when doing detail work. The case it comes with is very durable and includes multiple attachments I have yet to use unfortunately but the unit itself is very powerful with a variable speed between 5,000 – 35,000 rpm. Vibrations can be very powerful at higher speeds but that should be expected. I suggest getting the drill press mount as it doubles as a tool holder so you can hang the device and you also have mini drill press to go with it. This set comes with a chuck which makes swapping out bits too easy. All in all this is a great item and well worth the price for everything you get

A Dremel tool that will last a very long time and easy to replace the brushes.
These things lasted for a very long time, I finally wore my old one out and now I have a new one, which will last for a very long time. I have it mounted to the Dremel Press and use it to drill holes for stitching in thick leather, Like knife sheaths and holsters, where you have 4 layers of leather. These dremels works very well, they last for a long time and easy to replace the brushes, plus this comes with a bunch of extras.

I have tried "off" brands and they simply do not compare. There are many parts and all useful. Good pwer, easy to handle for small projects.
