Ok, first off, I have to say the taste in water is beyond disgusting, so don't even try it like I did. So my husband drinks his in juice, I put mine in my morning smoothie, you can still tell it's there, but it's not overpowering. Chlorella is a great product for detoxing your body, helps build your gut flora and honestly just makes us feel good. I like this brand because they don't heat their products to dry, which keeps all the nutrients in place. I highly recommend this product and company.

This is by far the best! I use it for anemia protocol on my goats combined with other stuff a d not only do they like it, it works!

So many reviews saying it tastes good, or has no taste at all. What?!? Smells like the aquarium store and tastes like I'm licking the tanks clean. Yuck! Found the best way to get it down is to mix with super orange emergen-c. I sure hope it helps with chronic inflammation and auto-immune diseases. I'm switching to the tablets when I get through this bag. :)

Legit tastes like seaweed, mostly kelp, bc seaweed is algae. Also, it's super fresh and smells awesome (I love seafood flavors so...). The flavor is much less bitter than Spirulina, but I use that mostly for protein and high energy use (ie: workout/working at a restaurant/house chores) since it's more like an organism. I use Chlorella mostly for detox but you can still get nutrients/protein too. I'd even say it's better. If your tastebuds like it, you can mix it with any drink. I put a teaspoon (label recommends 1 tbsp) in my iced tea and I kinda like seaweed in my tea hahaha! Reminds me of tea with kratom. As for the color, it's a bit misleading and looks more like a color between their product photo vs competitors. If you plan to go vegan/vegetarian or are body building, this is a perfect shortcut for helping complete your nutritional needs without using overly processed products like whey protein powder, which is made of animal by-product and tastes awful. Look up the nutrition on this stuff. It's fantastic 👌✨

I was pretty skeptical about the myriad benefits listed for this "supplement" but thought I'd give it a try anyways. The most positive thing I can say about it so far is that it doesn't actually taste horrible. The taste is tolerable enough that you can eat it by the spoonful but keep in mind, when you eat it by the spoonful (this is how I eat it) it's messy and you can end up inhaling and choking on the powder and/or getting residual greenness all over your mouth and face (not pretty). There's definitely a reason they sell this stuff in tablet form! It tastes faintly of seaweed which I don't mind because I'm used to eating seaweed. When I tried it in a smoothie though, it tasted AWFUL.Really disgusting. I freely admit that this could just be because I don't typically make smoothies and when I do they aren't like milkshakes; they're mostly just water, bits of fruit, and stevia. The reason I'm only giving it 3 stars is because I ordered it because chlorella is supposedly a good source of antioxidants, b vitamins, protein, and iodine but it isn't--not really. The nutritional facts on the bag only list iron, vitamin c, and protein and based on the serving size (I think it's 1tbs) it actually doesn't seem like that good of a source (you'd have to eat way more than the serving size to get a significant amount of protein or vitamins). Iodine and b vitamin estimates aren't even listed. I guess I'd rather eat actual food than an oz of this stuff. If you look up on the product page you can see the more detailed nutritional info: 1oz serving contains Protein—16g, Vitamin A—287% RDA, Vitamin B2—71% RDA, Vitamin B3—33% RDA, Iron—202% RDA, Magnesium—22% RDA, Zinc—133% RDA. But eating a whooping 1 oz a day would mean this bag would only last you 8 days! Plus, it would be unpleasant trying to eat that much--or even half (which would be 1 tbs; i can only eat this stuff by the tsp). I will say that I do like the fact that this stuff is supposed to help promote good bacteria. I still definitely prefer nutritional yeast over this stuff. I like Anthony's Premium Nutritional Yeast Flakes (1lb), Verified Gluten Free ); it might not be as beneficial (no iodine or iron and lots of the b vitamins are added in), but it's close enough, and nutritional yeast just works out better for me (it tastes delicious and it's a lot more affordable).

I use it for two times only and after each issues I vomited I I’m not recommending this product for anyone. It is really dangerous.
