Great audio interface for small setups and travel!
I'm a musician who works with the Digital Audio Workstations Cubase. I have simplified my life to using only a laptop as my main computer but the one drawback is the built-in soundcard -- it has too much latency when working with a DAW creating music. Playing in one track is tolerable but then trying to play another track while listening to the previously recorded tracks is impossible because of the latency. Which is where this external audio interface is important. It's a USB-C connection and is powered by the USB-C port so there's no power adapter required so I can travel with it and my laptop and small MIDI keyboard to work on music projects outside my main office. I already have a MOTU-M4 but wanted a smaller audio interface for travel. This Arturia MiniFuse1 fills the bill very nicely. With this the latency is so small as to be virtually unnoticeable so layering tracks is easy. The size makes this easy to fit into my computer's briefcase for easy travel. I use a USB-C cable with a right-angle connector and much shorter in length than what comes in the box to keep my workspace less cluttered and better organized but the cable which ships in the box is perfectly fine. It has very few bells and whistles but it has a mic-combo input and a 1/4" input with level adjustment for both, it has "direct monitoring" which means that the audio you are playing into the MiniFuse1 goes directly out to your headphones as well as into the computer so you don't run into the possibility of latency. But this is a very efficient interface so even without using the direct monitoring, if you've set the audio buffer small enough in your audio software the latency is so small that it doesn't interfere. And the price is incredible for what this device offers -- it's an exceptional value for the money and the recording quality is excellent. This is a very "transparent" audio interface, which means that it does not change the sound quality as the sound passes through on its way to your computer. Once caveat about the installation -- follow the instructions which come in the box BUT there's one step that they don't mention -- after if appears as if the installation has gone perfectly, reboot your computer or else this interface won't show up in different software as a possible device.

Good price, well made, easy setup, sounds good.
Great audio interface for Windows. Easy setup, sounds as good as focusrite Scarlett solo to me, for less money. I also like the addition of the USB hub. Feels well made, does what it is supposed to, I'm happy with it.

Works on Linux!!
Love it for the simplicity of a single USB-C cable. Works on Linux Mac and Windows. Linux was plug and play (thanks kernel devs!) perfect for simple recording and for gaming.

Excellent audio and build quality for the money
This MiniFuse is very compact, has excellent audio quality and good value for the money. It has a small learning curve to install app etc. (at least for us old analog dogs;). But this gets your job done well, and doesn't break your bank. Thumbs up!

A Great little Device
Great little device I'm currently using the minifuse 1 Connected to a laptop for non copyrighted music Install requires you to register the device first in order to get driver updates, and after that your good to go. So far I've no issues ,it does what's it's designed for a simple plug in and leave alone device . The sound quality is good.. Nice metal case.. The knobs have a nice feel.. The input lights gives a good visual of your levels.. And the cherry on top is the USB port at the rear allows you to use midi controllers that don't have didicated midi ports. So not bad, a good value for what you getting.

Long term review
I’ve had the Minifuse 1 for almost three years now, have not felt the need to replace it or upgrade. I’m using it to run neural DSP plugins with my guitar, no recording or anything, just easier than using my amp when I like headphones, my AMP sits ready to be jacked in if I feel like shaking the walls and annoying the neighbors I’m sure I could nit pick if I was a more serious user, but I really have nothing but good thoughts about this little thing

Quality product that doesn’t play nice with my storage drives
edit: i’m an idiot. I didn’t install the drivers. user error great product 5/5 stars lol whoops old review: The product is nice and functions as intended. When leaving it plugged in to the USB port and turning my PC on it causes my C and D drives to be unreadable and cause my system to freeze. After unplugging the interface and restarting my PC, it boots up just fine with all drives being readable. I plug in the interface again, and it works as intended. I like the product, just wish I didn’t have to plug it in every time I boot up my system.

Received as expected. Product is great, and all components seem to be working as expected. Product was recognised when I registered it on Arturia's site. Feels solidly built and quite usable. Management software is also quite intuitive to use. The software package that is included with it is AMAZING (the reason why I waited for this product): - - Ableton Live Lite [DAW] - Analog Lab Intro [Synths] - Guitar Rig 6 LE [Guitar Effects] - Some useful plugins for vocal processing and effects) - Splice subscription (3 months) [Clips] - Auto-Tune Unlimited subscription (3 months)

Anyone wanting a good quality interface on a budget this is the way to go. Anyone wanting to record in a more portable setup, this is the way to go. Works amazingly, but if you are gonna record more than 1 input at a time definitely look at the bigger brothers of the minifuse 1 like the minifuse 2 or 4.
