Perfect for a clean home or small-office network – super flexible and actually thoughtful design
I just finished wiring up my new home office + media room with 12 Cat6 runs and this Everest Media 12-port patch panel made the whole job way less painful than my last one. What I loved: The removable 6-port panels are genius. I punched down all 12 cables at my workbench (two panels, six jacks each), then just snapped them back into the frame once I was upstairs. No more trying to reach around inside a wall-mounted panel while holding a punch tool upside-down. Huge time-saver. Comes with a proper 89D wall-mount bracket already in the box. Most panels make you buy this separately; here it’s included and fits perfectly on standard 16" stud spacing. True vertical or horizontal mounting options. I ended up going horizontal in my rack but the extra holes and markings made it dead simple to flip the orientation if I’d wanted wall-mount instead. Eight blank keystone inserts included. I only needed four right now (future-proofing for fiber or coax later), and the blanks look clean and professional — no ugly empty holes staring at me. Build quality is surprisingly good for the price. The steel frame is rigid, the keystone openings are precisely cut (my Monoprice and Cable Matters jacks snapped in with a satisfying click and zero wobble), and the grounding screw is actually useful instead of decorative. Minor notes (not really complaints): No printed port numbers on the front, but I just used my label maker and it looks great. The included screws are a little short if you’re going into thick drywall, but I had longer ones on hand anyway. Took me about 25 minutes total from opening the box to having all 12 ports terminated and tested at 10 Gbps with zero issues. If you’re doing any kind of structured cabling at home, this panel is an easy recommendation. Great value, smart features, and it just works. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Great Patch Bay - Easy for beginners/DIY'ers
Great product. Keystones snap in effortlessly and are held tight once seated. the cable management works like a charm. Pull out panels make it even easier.

The greatest patch panels ever made!
Everything I have ever bought from Everest Media Solutions has become a staple in my equipment toolkit as an owner of an IT service company. These are the only parts I panels I will ever use in my entire life as long as they're still made. Easy to patch and repatch thanks to the modular nature of them, easy to label, easy to rack. The built in cable holder and organizer is a great touch. The plastic used for the retaining clips is really quality and I've never seen one break.

Very good but not great
I ordered two of these for my network rack to pair with a 24 port switch with two rows of 12 ports. With a panel above and below the patch cabling is neater and easier for me to work with. The clip style cable tension relief and removable front panels were the features that interested me. Wasn’t crazy about plastic vs metal but for the price was worth trying. The plastic on the front panel is solid, it’ll be fine. The cable tray in the back flexes a bit but not something I’ll access often. Four stars instead of five because the panel is just slightly taller than a 1U rack slot. It’s a very tight fit. I couldn’t get the end caps to fit over the rack bolts due to proximity with units above and below. These definitely won’t work in a full rack. I have some space to spare.

Much better than a standard network patch panel
I had a standard patch panel (without access to keystone connectors). It worked well for the first installation, but when I had to install more cable in my wall mounted server rack, I saw the problem that a standard patch panel brings. My server rack is installed close to the ceiling, in the closet, where all my network cables were landed by the house builder. I decided to add a few cameras for security reason at my home. This is when the trouble started: I had to disconnect everything just to add two cameras to my network. With this keystone patch panel, it makes add new devices to my network much easier. Not to mention that the cable organizer at the back makes my cabling much better inside the server rack. The main parts of the Everest patch panel are made of metal, which is great. The detachable front panels are made of plastic, but still sturdy enough. The downside is that you have to buy the keystone jacks, but they are usually not expensive, but that is a small price to pay for the flexibility and maintainability this gives. Recommended.

Easy to work on
Easy to work with, nice cable management built in. I like that I can pull out 6 slots at a time and work with them, not having to drop the whole thing to add or remove a line is a great feature and the reason I bought this one. The screw covers did break the clips that hold them on the first use but those are just aesthetic, they did go back on but i do not expect then to stay for long.

Some CAT 6 keystones may not fit this patch panel
Ease of mounting and being able to detach sections of 6 are nice. But this panel did not adequately fit my Cat 6 keystones side by side. I could at best fit 3 next to each other, but even with that they were angling out sideways. Just a slight bit more clearance and they would've worked great. Arguably other keystones may have worked fine, but I've never had an issue with these Cat6 jacks in any other keystone plate. Be weary if you are using monoprice keystones.

I absolutely love this Everest Media Solutions 24 Port Keystone Patch Panel. It was super easy to mount in my rack, and the keystones snap in firmly, staying rock solid. The cable management at the back is also great – it holds the cables securely in place, keeping everything tidy and organized. Overall, it worked really well for my needs, and I’m very happy with the quality and performance. Definitely a solid choice for anyone needing a reliable patch panel!

I really like this device. It fits my Cat6a plenum cables really well and keeps them neat and tidy. The jacks snap in nicely and keep things locked down well. Easy to assemble and install.
