LET THE *SON* SHINE IN - 15.4" - 5 STARS (but you should know something first) - beautiful and much briter than expected (lights up dim light area over kitchen range) - super affordable and well-written install instructions / comes with wire twists / everything needed to install - the install wire clip while installing the light is a stroke of genius - super versatile with advanced remote with tons of options that actually work (line of sight 20ft) - night light with one button provides CONSTANT affordable light for dim hallways (leave this on in hallways on gold hue) - can reset the daylight hue with gold hue with one click of the light switch - utilitarian handsome lights both on and off / ring illuminates as BLACK ring when lit, attractive for all but the most formal rooms - the ceiling upcast light makes these lights really stand out and give a mild comforting ambience on the ceiling CAVEATS: 1. vendor cheaped out on very thin 16g wire 2. the center hold is barely over 2" round - very hard to get 12g wire back up inside the in-celing wire box. 3. NOT EASY to install because of caveat #2. 4. HIGHLY RECOMMEND stripping off another 3/4" wire from the *very thin* wire connectors to be able to get a good/safe grip onto your house wires (only do this if you know how to use a wire stripper on 16g stripper) 5. as mentioned - vendor cheaped out on the wire and only gave a 1/4" lead to twist onto a much thicker house wire

Easy install, sits flush to ceiling, and seamlessly flows through lighting temperatures (which the kids love). Nice remote that dims down to basically zero...really helpful at bedtime. Solid, simple light.

The BLNAN Dimmable LED ceiling light is a 12Inch, 24W, 3000K-6500K with adjustable light colors (6500K to 3000K). It has 2400LM lumens and the brightness can be adjusted from 100% to 10%. And it requires 120 volt wiring. The BLNAN LED light is a big improvement over the 30 year old light fixture in the closet. The old fixture had a pull chain that was no longer working and I was shopping for a new pull chain to install. But I'm really happy that I found the BLNAN LED light and I replaced the whole fixture. And since the BLNAN has a remote control I didn't have to worry that there was not a switch on the wall. I encountered a few issues doing the install. Be sure to flip your breaker switch to turn off power before doing the wiring. Twist the base plate off of the light and then pull your wires through the 1 inch hole, and then screw the base plate to the junction box in the ceiling. In my case the junction box was above the sheetrock and the enclosed screws were too short. I found some #8 32x1.5" machine screws in my garage and they were perfect for attaching the base plate. Once the base plate is installed there is a short cable that you can use to hang the new light while you are hooking up the wiring. I found that the stripped bare wires of the BLNAN light were too short to make a good connection and so I used my wire stripper to expose more of the bare wire. I connected the wiring nuts. There were only two wires in the junction box so I didn't use the ground wire, but the light works fine. And then you have to push the wires and wire nuts up into the 1 inch hole in the center of the base plate. Twist the light onto the base plate and flip the breaker and you're good to go. So the light works great and there is a lot of options using the remote. The light is quite bright--brighter than my old light. I'm quite happy with the BLNAN LED light. Check out my picture of the instructions for the remote to see some of the lighting options available. Now all I need is some velcro to attach the remote to the wall.

I really didn't have super high hopes for such a cheap chicom light but the thing does the job. First, don't expect some high quality construction and style, this this screams cheap rental property. I installed this thing about a desk under a shelf in an alcove for lighting. I bought this for: 1) Stepless dimming 2) Stepless color changing 3) Very low profile From my impressions: 1) This light is fairly directed down, like the recessed lights I have in another room. It does not spread the light around, like a main ceiling light would. Therefore, this light is not well suited to be the main center light in a room. A light for the center of a room will throw light from the sides that will reflect off of the ceiling, thereby illuminating the whole room. 2) Because of the above limitations a single light bulb recessed fixture may be a better choice. 3) The one place this light would be perfect is in a closet. Being able to set the color temp and brightness depending on the layout of the closet would be great. Also, since it is very low profile shelves it would not waste space. This would also work well in bathrooms that have multiple sources of light turned on at the same time. 4) Very light weight and easy to install. Has a wire so you can hang the light while doing the electrical connections. Includes hardware, including screws for a ceiling box and a couple of screws with anchors. Also has wiring caps. Lever type connectors would have been nice but whatever. Also there is enough space between the mounting plate and the light to put the wires (just barely) so you do not have to connect everything behind the mounting plate or try to shove the wires back through the hole into a box which would be hard with solid core wire. 5) Remote is cheap and doesn't come with batteries. However, the buttons have a nice positive click and tactile feel so they are very easy to push without error. There is a red light at the top indicating when the light is pushed. Two annoying things I don't like is that that when changing the color temp the brightness goes to 100%. I would like to change the color temp without affecting the brightness. The other thing is the battery cover does not stay on. I used electrical tape. 6) I'm guessing there is a led strip running around the perimeter of the inside of the shade. This will make the light a little brighter around the edges but it is not really that bad at all. You cannot see any individual led hotspots, which is great. In summary, it's cheap and works just fine. I really wouldn't use it anywhere besides a closet or a pantry. Maybe a place where a little auxiliary light is needed without installing a recessed fixture. Just remember you can't use a dimmer switch with this, you must use the remote.

Great looking low profile ceiling light fixture. This unit has a remote control with many options for color and brightness. It was very easy to install and liked the fact it had a cable to attach to the base for ease in connecting the wires. Puts out a lot of light. Would recommend.

This is a really plain light with no frills in appearance, but makes for one great light. I installed one in my kitchen since my kitchen is pretty compact, and it works for the most part. Since the light is close to the ceiling, it's probably best suited for hallways since a lot of the light shoots straight down. It would illuminate rooms better if it could bounce off walls, since the range of angle isn't all that great. Remote works well. The best part is the ease of changing the light setting. Sometimes I like the bright white, sometimes I like the daytime, and it's a simple click of a button. I love the night setting as it provides just enough light without making my eyes hurt. Also great to use in the morning after waking up while my eyes are still getting adjusted to the light. Installation was pretty simple if you have an idea of what you're doing. I'm a business analyst, but i was still able to shut off the breaker and pretty much connect 3 wires and hook it up. Very happy with purchase overall and would buy any of my other lights burn out.

I was ordered this light for my hallway. I was hoping it would be bright enough. Well to my surprise this light was two times brighter then expected. The quality is good too. Has so many settings and color choices. The remote works great. I just set the light to the way I like and put the remote away. For my review, a 5 Star and I recommend this light.
