The filters were perfect. My under-sink water filter is old but still in good working condition. I have been searching for the correct filter and could not find them most of the time or they did not fit. The filters I purchased are perfect. They seem to be the originals. I am so glad I found the correct filters. I will be purchasing from here as long as I can get them. I won't need any for at least a year or more. I purchased extra. 😊😊

Our water tasted terrible where we live, and even my kids were complaining about the water, as is full of fine dirt and crud. I knew I had to get a new filter for our WHirlpool DUF under sink system I had bought 8 months ago, but with Covid, I didn’t trust going to the store to get a new one. I ended up going with the name brand, Whirlpool GAC carbon filter even though it costs a bit more, and there were a lot to pick from. I knew Whirlpool is a brand I could trust as I have a Whirlpool fridge and dishwasher too! As soon as I installed it into the system inuu kitchen and began running it, the water quality definitely improved, even our youngest noticed! I only ran the water for maybe 5-10 mi and now no more nasty smelling water. The chlorine smell and taste is gone! I’ll definitely get the original one Highly recommend you pick this on up, it’s well worth the money!

Great product. Exactly what we were looking for.

I only found this Whirlpool DB2 filter available from one supplier, at over twice what it used to cost. But it claims filtration superior to most other under-sink filters and doesn't restrict the flow excessively. The diameter also hasn't been increased like the Pentek filters so it still fits the older style Omnifilters. It has changed slightly in appearance from the one it replaced under my sink, but hopefully it's filtering out everything it says it is.

When I installed this I noticed it was a little narrower than the filter I removed. I put them both together side by side on the counter and saw that they were, however, the same height. So I installed it and so far the water flow is better than my old filter. Of course we never know without testing the quality of the water that is coming through the filter, but it seems to taste fine. This filter was a decent value for the money and I am rating it five stars.
