Great gift!!!
My friend who loves tornadoes now has one to look at on her desk and decompress from stress. Works perfectly. Needs batteries. Is loud but has a way to use it silently. Great purchase!

Affordable and fun experiment for kids
I purchased this for my 5 year old son who is currently highly fascinated by tornadoes and turbulent weather systems. Instructions are easy to understand - we got this up and running in almost no time. My son thinks this is so much fun, and will turn it on and watch it throughout the day. Battery life (3 AAA batteries) is good. Definitely worth the money I paid for it - Quality is as expected. Experiment variety is pretty limited, but my son loves to put the green and blue foam pieces that came with the experiment and watch them travel up and down the tornado. The sound effects are a nice touch! I definitely recommend this experiment.

Great learning experience
I bought this for my grandson. I thought it was just a blender type toy to simulate a tornadoe, but it actually teaches how a tornado works. Also very durable with a water tight lid. He still plays with it today.

Awesome my son loves it
My son loves this he has really gotten into weather and asked for a tornado for his birthday so I went on the hunt this caught my eye cause I felt it wouldn't cause a huge mess and I was right it comes with little bits yoy can put in to simulate debris my son is fascinated and turns this on almost daily to watch it he is 4 I haven't had to change the batteries yet its built very well and is a great gift for little tornado lovers

Fun!
Very cool! My child who loves tornados loves this. He likes to add or remove the "debris" and he enjoys the different ways to view the tornado. You can control the speed/size of tornado. I think its a really good size and makes a fun gift. It is a little noises, but its fun. I like that it is battery operated and easy for a kid to use. Good quality

Broken After 1 Use
We used this toy 1 time and it was broken. We didn't do anything to cause it to break. We literally put water in it, turned it on, and found it leaking on the counter 15 minutes later. We emptied it and put it on the shelf, then got it out to play again a few days later. Lights and sound worked but the tornado function was dead. A complete dud of a toy, and so disappointing because when it worked it was so mesmerizing for the kids. Big sad, and less trusting of this brand now.

Gift for 7 yo boy
Fun gift for 7 year old boy who loves the weather. Appeared to be a good size and value for the one but not sure about quality or ease of use since it was a gift.

Works good. Batteries die fast!
We got this tonight and my son has been using it Non-Stop. This is not something that gets carried around because it can fall over and spill so you must instruct your children it's good for tables or on the floor. We put in three brand new batteries and it did not last more than 2 hours with continuous use. My son turned it on and enjoyed sitting with it while he did other things or coloring while it was on the desk with him but it died very quickly. Going through three brand new batteries every couple hours is not very efficient and it's very upsetting to children because you have to pour the water out to safely replace the batteries so it's a bit of a mess every time you have to swap them. They should have made built-in rechargeables to make this last longer so at least could go one evening when they're in bed or something like that.

Great science toy, our tornado obsessed tween had a great time experimenting with it :) It's hasn't leaked, and the wind sounds are good but a little garbled. (If this is for a smaller child, it's probably best to supervise while using as the little plastic/foam 'storm debris' might be a hazard).

Good product once we found it after walking the streets for two hours.... My autistic boy was horrified as it was supposed to be for his birthday.

Está muy padre pero me hubiera gustado que se conectara a la luz porque es de pilas pero todo bien.
