Works just like the old one which lasted at least 12+ years. Simple to install and has been running without a hiccup. It's installed submerged in a connected overflo/fliter tank. A little overpowered for my 65 gallon tank, but has a setting that controls the water flow. While the pump runs quietly, there is some sight vibration noise which would probably go away if I had anchored it to the aquarium in some fashion. But but the noise isn't loud enough to bother re-rigging the connecting hose. Happy with my 2nd purchase of this product.

Bought this to use in the sump for our 210 gal aquarium. It is quiet. Moves water very well from basement up 1/2 flight to tank in our family room. The Sicce brand stands behind their motors and best warranty in the business.

Could have been packaged better. The bottom was almost ripped because the pump was so heavy. Hope all the pieces are they
