Alpinestars

Long-time rider who has worn a lot of gloves....these aren't going to work for me. The deal breaker is the hard plastic knuckle protectors. Simply having them on is ok but using them while riding is another matter. After 1 hour I couldn't take it anymore. I've switched back to my old gloves, Alpinestars SP8V2. They also have hard plastic knuckle protectors but they're a little different in design and don't bother me at all. Its possible after some break-in time the painful knuckles may go away but I really don't think I can wear these long enough to find out. Other than that, the gloves fit fine. I got these V3s in the same size as my old V2s...3XL. The old V2s lasted 6 years before they got a hole in a fingertip, and I've been happy with them. But, I'll be looking for another pair of gloves to try, and these V3s will go on the shelf.

They run very small

These gloves are very well made. I found that I could not wear these for more than a few minutes. I tried to break these in but the knuckle protection is not placed properly and all I got out of the deal was pain, cracking joints when I flexed my hands, and losing my money for a product I can never use.

They take forever to break in but that's because of the leather quality. They're great gauntlets for the price but don't expect them to be super comfortable, they are leather gauntlets after all. I'd suggest getting one size larger than your regular as they are very stiff. Throttle grip is great while the clutch is still easy to actuate. the straps are great and once they're tightened the gloves feel super secure, I wouldn't worry about them coming off during a slide. Just be patient with break-in.
