Learning Robot
Another MUST in an elementary classroom! My students LOVE using this in the math station for practicing their fact fluency, and the literacy station for practicing CVC recognition. It comes with cards that can accommodate diverse learners too!

Great for independent drill!
My 6 year old has mild word processing difficulties, so she needs lots of drill for phonics and such. I have a two year old and am pregnant with twins, so I needed a way to help her drill without sitting down for 20 minutes at a time. Enter this beautiful little robot. It’s not electric or battery powered, just flips the cards for them. Which seems so simple, but she’s actually excited to work on her flash cards now. Which is a huge win for us. 5 stars! I will say, we like the phonics cards better than the math. The math shows the visual on the front, so it’s a little easier to “cheat”. So just be sure to look at the cards before you buy. It doesn’t work with regular sized ones.

Durable
The students enjoy feeding the robot and checking their answers. The answer tray needs to be emptied part way through the set of cards. I plan to order another robot since I have several sets of Junior Learning cards.

awesome therapy material
As a speech therapist, my kiddos LOVE robots. "Feeding" the robot is a favorite for all types of activities, from answering wh questions to articulation, and I challenge my kiddos to "catch" the cards in his belly. The robot is great quality and durable. Just make sure you have cards that fit in the size of his mouth! My only wish is for the mouth to be a bit wider.

This is Important to Know
Oh how I wanted this to work. For Birthday this weekend, I bought 20 boxes of flash cards to kick off grandbabies' first year of preschool readiness. To get variety, bought from many vendors, but all were STANDARD 4x6 size cards. Then I saw Flashbot! that would have been so cool! Searched Flashbot descript; even asked RUFUS and everything said STANDARD size cards; but his mouth is only 3" wide??? Had to return him
