Bought two in April 25 (3 months ago) and the plastic buckle on both has broken. I have a 12kg puppy!

These are really badly manufactured and unsafe, one started ripping after about a week of use. After 3 months two out of three are unusable. To be completely clear, my dogs do not chew on them nor pull or move excessively. I have three spaniels, two if whom are around 10kg, so not big dogs. Today I clipped my puppy in and was putting my boots on when he leapt out the boot, the strap had torn straight through, we were by the side of a 60mph road! Luckily he's reasonably well trained so he just sat by my feet and I was able to safely get him back in the car. I hadn't noticed that there was any damage to this one before I clipped him, obviously there must have been so I should have checked it over first but still, it shouldn't have happened. I think the fabric used is really weak. I would recommend avoiding these and looking for a safer version.

Please be careful when buying this item. On the first use it broke as the metal ring joining the car harness pulled apart when my dog pulled against it. The metal ring is not welded. I purchased this as a second car harness for a second dog. The first one purchased has a welded metal ring so impossible to break. The current stock is inferior and my dog could have escaped as I opened the car door on a busy road. Not able to contact the seller so no chance of a refund. Suggest the quality has diminished for the product and therefore buy with caution.

One buckle snapped after only using it twice, and all of the belts slide from the tightest/short hold - the dogs almost end up in the front seat. I saved them all for going away on holiday and have now missed the return window. If I could send them back for a refund, I definitely would. Don't buy this!

Looked a good strong harness but after only a few uses the clip for fastening on to the harness fell apart

The central metal connecting ring broke resulting in my Golden Retreiver escaping the car into the path of an oncoming car and a large vets bill. Thankfully my dog survived but I would say this tether is grossly unsuitable for a large breed.

I have bought this item several times now. I have 2 dogs and lost one of the seat belts. Re ordered one this week and have to say really disappointed. The 2nd time of using it and it’s ripped. The clip was attached to the harness and the rest just came away. Had to stop the car and secure my dog properly.

Good looking harness unfortunately the plastic clips were easily broken by my puppy on the first 10 minute car journey and sadly became unusable
