Moves my 20’ ski boat like magic!
Excellent trailer dolly. Very high quality steel construction. Easy assembly with good instructions. Used it to move a 20’ ski boat on a sloped driveway into a gravel pad next to the driveway. It worked perfectly. Very impressed. I’d strongly recommend this trailer dolly. My only disappointment was three-four significant scratches in the powered coated frame. The scratched must have happened before it was boxed and shipped because every single piece of metal was bubble wrapped very nicely. I’m still giving it 5 stars as it made our job of moving the boat a very simple, speedy and effortless task. After doing tons of research and product comparisons, I’m 100% happy I bought this one.

A Quality Product
I purchased this to move my trailers around my property. It was relatively easy to assemble, instructions were good, and it was packaged adequately and arrived in good condition. I've already used it, because I was waiting on it to move a trailer. It worked perfectly, didn't complain, and was able to move a small 2,200 lb RV with a tongue weight of 250lb easily on flat terrain. One caution, and it was likely my fault, is that I stripped the receiving threads for one of the 4 bolts in the unpainted piece that connects the top part of the handle to the rest of the unit. The bolts use a spring washer and as I tightened the bolt, I felt it give way and confirmed that the receiving threads were stripped. Given that the other bolts use nuts and are heavy duty and can take much torque, I advise being more gentle with these four bolts into that particular part. I guess I could order a replacement, but I'll see how it goes for now. The BIGGEST issue I had with this order was NOT the product, but with Amazon delivery. When I placed this order, there was a countdown flag that said order within 2 hours to receive by Mar 25, which I did. I was logged in, so it Amazon knew my address. It was stated that it would arrive then in the email order confirmation, it was shipped early enough, but while waiting on it to arrive on Mar 25 to move my newly received trailer out of my driveway, I received an email from Amazon telling me that they were "sorry" and that delivery would now be Mar 26. I understood this to be "guaranteed delivery" when there is an "order by" flag, but don't believe it. I paid $28 on a $79 product for fast delivery. I've tried repeatedly to contact Amazon to request a refund on the shipping, but there is apparently no way to do so. Every possible attempt has ended in a dead-end with no human in sight. I'm sick of Amazon. Unfortunately, sometimes, especially in Alaska, there are few other options. I've had such ridiculously bad delivery experience with Amazon in the past, that I ONLY use Amazon as a last resort, even if I end up paying more somewhere else (like eBay). I also recently cancelled my Prime membership as a result. This shipping issue is all on Amazon and does not reflect on the product or the manufacturer at all.

Heavy duty
Purchased as “used/like new”. All parts were included in the box and assembly took about an hour. Unit is heavy duty and works as expected. It’s a convenient tool to move boats around a garage but caution anyone to use outside on a hill as it does not have a hand brake.

Affordable, mostly well-built and will probably last a long time.
This is an extremely useful tool. I will use this dolly to move a 1,300 pound pop-up, camping trailer (A-liner Scout) into a tight-fitted garage space. The space is too tight to back up into safely while attached to my truck. With this dolly, I can easily maneuver and steer our camper by hand into an exact spot. I'm 5'6" and 150 lbs, and this dolly makes light work of an otherwise risky approach. I think the metal frame work of the dolly is well built. It feels solid. The handle grips are not secured well and they move around and feel cheap but I don't believe it will matter in the long run. Even if the grips fall off, I can wear gloves or use tape to cover the grip area. The tires are not going to last forever but they are easy to replace. The tires have an extremely strong smell that hits you immediately upon opening the box. The smell dissipated in a few days but it did stink up my garage for a bit. I wouldn't want to have that odor lingering in my living space - especially if my wife was around. You might want to be careful where you open this package. I read a review about someone getting their head smacked after the dolly handle rotated and hit them forcefully. I have to think that securing the tongue latch on the trailer to the receiver on the dolly might have prevented this but I can't be certain. When this dolly was weighted, I made certain to keep my hands on the handles at all times. Because of that story about someone's injury, I paid attention to the fulcrum and potential energy that might enable this to dolly to get out of control. I never felt unsafe while using this. The dolly came with a 1 7/8" ball receiver which was not the size I needed - however it was easy to run to an auto parts store and get the 2" size I needed. Be aware that receivers come in different stem lengths and you'll need the shortest version to fit well on this dolly. A long-stemmed receiver will hit the bolt below the mounting point and may not fit. I had to return the first one (pictured) that I bought for this reason. There were printed instructions that came with the dolly, however they were only slightly helpful. I did a lot of looking at the pictures on the box and in the diagram to make sense of the assembly instructions. The assembling took me about 30 minutes but could have easily been done faster by someone smarter. I found all the correct hardware to be included in the box and all of the drilled holes lined up as they should (despite what I read about in other reviews). Considering the affordable price of this compared to other trailer dolly models, I'm pretty pleased. This dolly will get the job done for me. It's affordable, mostly well-built and will probably last a long time. (No one paid me a cent to write this review - I hope you find it helpful.)

Perfect for me
Makes handling my trailers a breeze, at 75 it’s gotten too hard for me to lift those tongues and horse my trailers around my offgrid property. The ability to pull it with my garden tractor is why I chose this one though I believe it will be impossible to control when backing up even if I had a front-mounted hitch. I got it for a 4x8 utility trailer and a 14’ fishing boat. The utility trailer is not so bad but the boat trailer wheels are way far back so the motor and a couple of cinder blocks are necessary to lighten the tongue enough for me to even lift it. Its little 8 inch wheels take some real force to get over the slightest irregularity which out here in the woods are more regular than not. It arrived in a beat up but very heavy duty cardboard box, all the parts were there in pristine condition with no extras and it went together easily without resorting to silly instructions. It’s kind of like running a chainsaw - if you need a book to tell you how to do it you should probably leave it for someone else. The only potential downside I can see is that I have no place inside to store it so it’ll be out in the weather or in the covered trailer and I expect the wheel bearings and other parts to quickly rust.

Excelent Construction and easy use.
Maybe I got a later version, I have none of the complaints of some reviewers. It is made of strong materials, the tires were in great shape (no damage), and the instructions were very clear and easy to follow in assembling.. It worked perfectly in maneuvering my utility trailer when backing and parking in my shed.

Good, but missing hardware
Pros: great quality. For the price, you can’t beat this. It works very well. Cons: was missing a LOT of hardware, and had some random extra pieces. It was missing several bolts, nuts and washers. And came with wrong sizes of other, random pieces. But again, it was very cheap, and it’s great quality.
