Straight to the point Kneeboard
It's on the smaller side. For the cost, it's a great option. There is a pen holder and clip at the top for holding papers in place. It adjusts connects with an elastic velcro along the back of your leg. It can be adjusted for many sizes of legs. There is no quick release mechanism. The velcro must be used each time.

It is small, but that's what I needed.
This is a basic clipboard with an elastic Velcro strap. It is on the small side (5" x 8"), but that's what I was looking for because I am 5' 4" (short legs) female. I have had a hard time finding a kneeboard that is small enough that I don't knock the yoke into it with full aft elevator (flying 150's, C23). Aluminum is solid enough, and I did not feel any sharp edges. I can see how the pen clip might break, but it can be taken off. Tie a pen to the board with a string if it does.

Um als Fahrlehrer kurze Notizen an der Ampel zu machen und die Hände sofort wieder frei zu haben, ist das Teil einfach genial. Das Format ist angenehm klein und DIN-A 4 zweimal quer geschnitten (wie ein Brief) ergibt 3 Notizblätter.

Ok board, however its too short and the strap for your knee is for kids.
