This is exactly what I was needing for my medically complex 2 year old! Our diaper bag bookbag just wasn't cutting it anymore. This has so much storage and literally exactly what is needed for a medically complex kiddo! I recommend it to all the parents of complex kiddos looking!

the backpack on the left is my old one and it cost $40 at walmart. the one on the right is the one i bought at just under $60. although it's marketed as a medical backpack, i use it to pack all my herbs and liquid supplements. it can hold two 1-gallon jugs of water plus two 1.5 liter water bottles in the main compartment. it can also hold a 2-liter in the side drink pocket which has an added insulation layer. the material is thicker, more durable than your regular back packs. the zippers are great, they also seem to be better quality. the fabric of the zipper covers most the mechanism up. the shoulder straps are well padded. you can literally bust the second compartment open since the zippers go all the way down to the bottom and it opens like a clam. it's got so many spots to organize your stuff which is difficult to find in backpacks i LOVE this thing. EDIT: the zipper tabs can come off

Using this for a car first aid kit. The compartments are perfect and it’s comfortable to carry.

I bought this as a Boy Scout first aid kit that could be hiked in or carried like a bag (nice handle on the top). You can get a ton of stuff in it and still have leftover space. That was a big plus because there's enough room for the first aid person to put their own stuff in the extra space and use it as their day pack. There is a side pocket that fits most water bottles. There are lots of pockets and elastic loops to keep your first aid stuff organized. Overall, great first aid pack. I haven't owned it long enough to comment on the durability, but it looks like it will hold up well.

I bought this as just something to hold gear and, because of the price, I didn't expect very much in the way of quality. When I got it though, it is a very good quality bag and appears to be quite durable. I have not had it very long so I could be wrong, but on first glance it is a really good quality. The bag has lots of room and is quite comfortable while carrying lots of gear. Well worth the price from what I have seen.
