Top Notch Filter, Decent Price
This particular filter (CA 8918) is for my 2006 Toyota Tundra. I've been using these Fram filters for years and have found them to be efficient, reliable, and free from defects. Previous cars I've used these on have been running perfectly after 200,000 miles, so I can assume they've been doing their job. Not much to say about a filter except that they work, right? Here are some other things I've found from using these air filters over the years: * Quality - After using dozens and dozens of Fram air filters for different cars over the years, I've never had one that had a defect: No tears or gaps, no mis-glued seams, and the gaskets have always mated perfectly to the air cleaner box surfaces, properly sealing the edges and preventing blow-by. * Country of manufacture - While the Fram air filters I've used for the past several years have been sourced out of country, the quality control has always been excellent. The last few I've used for my '06 Tundra have been made in Israel, for those to whom this matters. * Efficiency - The efficiency of these filters meets or exceeds manufacture warranty requirements. That is to say, if you keep your car properly maintained in all other ways, it should last as long as it ought. Some would say that there are other air filters out there that are more efficient, and I'll grant that's probably true. Does it make a noticeable difference over 100,000 miles? 200,000 miles? I've had cars that have lasted longer than that, and my direct experience tells me that it's not worth spending money on something that doesn't make a significant difference. There will be some who disagree with me, and that's fine: I'm just reporting on my personal experience with this product over decades of use and hundreds of thousands of miles. There are other, excellent filters out there, some a bit more or maybe even a bit less than this one, and they'd all do the trick. For me, this is the air filter I go to because it's been reliable, works as it should, and is priced competitively. Based on my experience, I'd recommend these to anyone.

Buy your own and save
This is the same air filter for my 2003 Toyota 4Runner that the local oil change place wanted to put in my car, and I paid less than half as much buying it on Amazon and replacing it myself. On my vehicle it's as simple as popping the hood, finding the air filter (left side facing vehicle), and releasing two flip-lock style clamps to release the cover. The old filter will come out easily and you can pop in the new one (it only fits one way) and secure the clamps and you're good to go! I find I need to replace my air filter about once every 3-6 months. I have noticed that if I remember to I blow it off with compressed air every month or so it seems to extend the life of the filter. Perfect fit, and gets the job done as expected. Would definitely buy it again for its price, build quality and performance.

Good quality
There are definitely much better filters out there. But this one is very affordable and as long as you replace routinely you should be good to go!

Works Well
Works well for a $20 air filter. I found one for half the price on Amazon and yet to try it out. Looks the same.

Perfect fit
I bought this to replace the current air filter because oil change places charge way too much money for them. Perfect fit and easy to change.

A great deal
I was informed during a recent oil change at Midas that the air filter needed to be changed. To do so there would have been about three times more expensive than ordering the filter from Amazon and installing it myself. The quality seems good.
