excellent product but does not meet my need>
this light work real well with the for its application(flashing Dummy light) I am very interested on a similar light (none flashing) different application will be on a same panel and the appearance is important. would you advice or recommend one. will appreciate your help. Jose I have received the light you send me , as per my request I wanted a similar light (flashing Dummy light) in size and color and dimensions, but non flashing, the configuration size and color of bulb size need to be the same. can you get the light I need or advice so I can return this on I got Jose

It’s does what and LED does
It’s an LED. I have it powered by a 12v supply and it seems bright enough for my needs.

A lttle pricy but Blue Sea System products are reliable
I have been using these LED lights on my boat for 20 years as pilot lights for lights that might end up left on in a closed compartment. Years ago that was a much bigger problem when incandescent bulbs were very power hungry. These are a snug fit in the 11/64 in hole they recommend and I have never felt the need to do anything more to secure them in place that just push them through the right size hole.

Not very bright but good for my application
The LED works fine for my application. I'm using it as an indicator light on the dash to remind me if I forget to turn off an accessory. If you're looking for a really bright light, you'll want to look elsewhere. This LED is rather dim in a 12v automotive setting, which in my case is better than a distracting super bright LED. So keep in mind your intended application when deciding whether or not to order. I really like the compact size- neat and clean install in a 11/64" hole.

Great for indicator in gauges
I was looking for a small LED i could wire in to let me know my fan was on. Out of quite a bit of research i settled on this and I'm quite happy I did. The upside is that it is really small. The downside as some might find is the led is not nearly as bright but that is subjective b/c I don't want a bright led bulb that will blind me either at night. For me this is a perfect product. The resistor is soldered on the end of the wire and thus you have to keep the bend radius in mind if you plan to put it in a very tight spot. The led fades in and out which is pleasant as opposed to a momentary on/off led. Overall good product and will order again if need be.

Easy Replacement of Burned Out Bulb
Replaced OEM DC panel indicator light on sailboat. Required an 11/64" drill bit to slightly enlarge panel hole. Perfect fit, size & brightness at an economical price.

It works but be aware that the actual bulb is about the size of a BB.
