You’ll download the Gosund app, create an account, and after granting necessary permissions, the plug auto-discovers itself. There’s also a manual setup option if needed. From there, I went into our Alexa app, selected “set up a new smart plug,” chose Gosund, and it auto-detected them. Within minutes, all our lamps were voice-controllable. These plugs do stick out a bit, so make sure you have enough space around your outlets. Otherwise, they’re solid, compact, and durable. We use this in our nursery and bedroom, and it’s honestly one of those small upgrades that makes daily life so much easier. When our baby falls asleep, we monitor through the camera and simply turn the lights off using Alexa—no need to walk back into the room and risk waking her up. These are so easy to use. Just download the app, plug in the devices, add them to your home network, and they work. I bought 4 of these 5 years ago for church and they've never had a single issue. Great product.

They are great but you have to reset them with a time change

Love these little things. I have two dozen in use. Been using for a few years and never had one fail. Integrates with Alexa or Google easily. Very easy to connect to the Gosund or Tuya apps. Just be smart and don't use them for something that draws max amps--like an air conditioner or heater. Christmas tree lights, indoor x-mas decorations, fans, accent lights, lamps, anything that has a power switch that's hard to reach. I even use them on computers and monitors...set computer to auto start--I tell Alexa to turn on the computer and when I walk into the office, it's already booted up. I have LED shop lights over a work bench in the garage and the ceiling outlet is not switched...how would I turn them on/off--one of these and it's voice activated now.

Works great. Connected easily to my Google home. Love that I can turn my lights on and off by voice or phone app.

Can’t go wrong with Govee and these don’t disappoint. I use them to power my aquarium and snake enclosure lights. They have never failed and work through the app seamlessly with NO DELAY almost as if you’re flipping a light switch. They sync with time so if the power goes out they will automatically know what time is is and won’t need adjusting. Once I was on a vacation far away and my financee called me and asked if I could turn if the aquarium lights early from the app, I wasn’t sure if it was going to work but I pressed the button and still with no delay the lights instantly flipped off. We were both surprised as I was almost 600+ miles away in remote mountain on the edge of where I knew I had cell service so I could call her before we went to camp for the night. These are great and I recommend them to everyone in my life who needs a light timer
