A smart choice
I bought this outlet extender to replace a previous one I’d been using that refused to be recognized by either my Alexa or its parent app. This outlet is almost exactly the same in shape and color, so it matches the one I have on the opposite wall, which is nice. I like the set up of the device, because one side works as a normal outlet, so three items can always be operable without having to activate them. In my room, that’s my recliner, my ECHO device, and one small lamp. I learned, when we had an interruption in internet service, it is inconvenient to have ALL your lights dependent on smart technology! The three smart outlets are great for things you might want to control without actually having to walk around to press switches or buttons. In my case, that’s my main floor lamp, so I don’t have to walk into a dark room, and my TV, that I can turn off from the doorway on my way out. The set up of the device was pretty simple, and the instructions included in the box were easy to follow. You will need to install an app unless you already have a GoSund device app. I am pleased with this smart outlet and would definitely recommend it.

Great product! Easy pairing to app
We are using this for my Christmas village. I love being able to turn it on and off from my phone but also on a schedule.

Useful, programmable outlet extender w/USB ports!
This is a super convenient product I don't want to call it a power strip because it does so much more. I love the two fast USB (3Amps) ports and how every outlet/port is programmable or switchable on/off. I have one in my living room with a 3-bulb tower lamp plugged into it. I don't use the Hue Bulbs for that one as it's overkill, but being able to set an automation for it to turn on/off is fantastic, with the option to turn on/off from the buttons on the app. I've had zero issues with connectivity or function the one year I've been using these, very satisfied with this product. I bought two power strips from Costco previously that had 3 outlets on each side swivel to the side for better ease of use PLUD 2 USB ports, but the ability to turn stuff on and off with this one really pushes it to the top.

Great smart outlet
I got this for our Christmas lights to have them all controlled by Google. It works good, 3 outlets are "smart" and 3 are regular.

Nice unit works well but...
1 star off as this tends to pull out of the wall if you use two or more outlets with a heavier chord. I have my iphone 16 changer, headset, (two of them full and earbuds) plugged into it and it has pulled away from the wall once or twice. To be fair I have a puppy who tries to get at the chords so have to block it off but she may be knocking into it. It does work great to get everything off the floor compared to floor surge protectors. This kind you have to reset after each surge, I have another one like this also ikd why some behave like this. We live on an island where electricity goes out (power surges) often, like with storms, hurricanes so I have all major anything imp on surge protectors. So far this is a great help, love the design so great to get all those chords off the floor so to speak. Push of a button connects again. I is good quality and the perfect size. Also offers C charging on the top very convenient feature I would not do without. Ok I will give this five stars :)

Nice
Very convenient. I bought this to mesh with stuff I already had from this brand and it showed right up and the app w not problems. I like that you can program switches separately if you want like lights on a schedule or something.

Overheating Issue with USB Ports - Not Suitable for Multiple High-Draw Devices
I purchased the GHome Smart Plug Outlet Extender with high hopes for its versatility and smart features. The ability to control individual outlets and USB ports through Alexa and Google Home was appealing, as was the promise of handling up to 1800W with a 15A rating. However, my experience with this product has been concerning. I used the three USB ports to power three neon signs, which should have been a simple task for a product claiming to support 5V/3A across the USB ports. After about an hour of use, the outlet started making a "Sssss" sound, and the area around the USB ports became very hot to the touch. This noise and heat buildup made me fear that it could spark a fire or blow a fuse, so I immediately unplugged everything for safety. It's clear that this product struggles to handle multiple devices drawing power from the USB ports simultaneously. If you're planning to use this for anything more than low-power devices, I would be cautious. The overheating issue is not something to take lightly, especially when it comes to home safety. While the smart features are nice, they aren't worth the risk of potential electrical hazards. I'll be looking for a more robust solution and would recommend others do the same if they plan to use all the ports at once.
