We have tried many prebiotics, and this one works best for me and my husband. GOS is the healthiest prebiotic. FOS is from fruit, and the sugar can feed bad bacteria in the intestines. My husband said, "Whatever you're giving me, order some more!" So I just placed another order for six more bottles. We have completed two bottles in the recent past. We take Garden of Life Once A Day (for Women for me, for Men for him) twice per week, Saturday and Tuesday mornings, and take the GOS Prebio the other five mornings, upon rising. Eat nothing for at least one hour. I don't write many reviews, but wanted to share our satisfaction with this product.

I found out through hard experience that I cannot tolerate butyrate, a by-product of metabolizing the pre-biotic FOS. My chiropractor recommended taking GOS instead. FOS is easy to find, a dime a dozen. GOS not so much. This is the most reasonably-priced GOS I could find and it definitely elevated the effectiveness of my probiotics without the nausea that came with the butyrate.
