I am a floral designer. I cut a 2.5” gash across the back of my hand with my extremely sharp design knife, (it was a stupid move). It cut through the myelin sheath and down to the muscle. The muscle was visible. The person at the desk at Urgent Care advised me that they were short handed and there was no one available to stitch me up. He told me to call in the morning and make an appointment for the next day without even having someone look at my injury. I went home and ordered these wound closure devices. They arrived at 9:00am the next morning. I used Herbal Stitches and manuka honey to treat and clean the wound and to prevent infection and closed my deep wound with 3 of these devices. It’s been 12 days and the cut is healing nicely… no stitches. I will be ordering a few boxes of these to have on hand in my first aid kit!!!! Having them in advance of the accident is the only thing that would have been better!!

really helpful to have these a great addition to any home first aid kit or travel kit after receiving terrible stitches in the emergency room and feeling I could do better myself. This was actually great for us. This is now a staple item in the first aid kit for my kids.

I cut myself really bad on my face and didn't want the "ladder and dots" look from getting stitches so I ordered this wound closure kit to be delivered by end of day the same day. Order stated I should be receiving package by 10pm, I was really surprised when I received the package before 5pm! The instructions were very easy to read and the added photos to reference throughout the process were a great addition. I needed to have the two wound closure thingys to be closer together so i cut down the middle. Removed the backing, placed both of the wound closure thingys on my face and gently pulled until my wound closed as instructed. Once my wound was closed I tried to rotate the strip as it mentions in the instructions but I felt the sticky part begin to lift so I just clipped them off with nail clipper. I keep forgetting I even have this wound closure kit on my face, it is very comfortable! I highly recommend this product.

These are better than anything the ER has. For young kids this is way better than stitches. They just work!

I have used these one time for a deep slice in an awkward part of my hand. It only stuck for about a day, but that was long enough to keep the wound from bleeding too much, and start the healing process. I am sure it would have held longer had I immobilized my hand with bandages, or even stopped working, but the main reason I bought these for my first aid kit was to be able to keep working if I do get a cut.
