Just ok
Update 1/12/24: I knocked it down to 3 stars for what happened as described below, but the replacements have lasted a really long time without any issues. It was just a lemon. That happens sometimes. This is a good, reliable product after all. Originally I gave this 5 stars because there was no set-up required; you simply add batteries, point, and click. However, in under a week of use, one of the remotes completely stopped working. My 10 year old was entirely unamused when his brand new remote unalived itself mid-volume-change. I’m going to purchase again in hopes that we just got a dud. If that turns out to be the case, I will come back and update my rating again.

No set up
This remote was purchased as an extra for our Samsung TV. It arrived promptly (without batteries) and connected to our tv automatically. Very happy there was no set up to connect the remote and tv. Works great.

Should be a five star. However the voice recognition doest work. It's fine it works great other wise. We'll it does always state remote battery low. Brand new batteries.

Doesn't stay connected reliably
It almost works. It pairs with the Chromecast (Google TV 4K) but it does not stay connected. Works for about 5 minutes, while you're selecting something to watch. Then you set it down. Pick it up after 15 minutes to pause what you're watching and it is no longer connected. Just has trouble staying connected and working. Battery level is fine. But just isn't reliable. Much more frustrating than it's is worth. Physically it's a nice feeling remote - it looks and feels almost like an OEM remote, same weight, etc. But since it does not work reliably it is kind of a waste of money.
