Wireless USB Adapter 2 - Multi-Platform: Switch, PS5, PS4, PC & Mac; Raspberry Pi Compatible

This item has saved my switch 2 gaming life . I was using a cheap knock off pro controller and whilst it did a job it didn't feel great to hold and was a bit clunky. I looked into If there was any cheap solution to getting my ps5 or Xbox controller connected to the switch 2 and this popped up as a suggestion . Gave it a go and within 5 minutes I was up and running and it's been a game changer . Absolutely love the product. Will say it does feel a bit flimsy and if you are heavy handed you could snap the usb or plastic , but once you have updated the drive and got it into your switch or wherever you want to use the product , you shouldn't really have to touch it again . From my experience it will connect controllers to your pc , switch and most importantly for me the switch 2 , for the switch 2 you will need a pc to update the firmware , there are some instructions which are not the clearest but at the same time it's not difficult and a easy process of just downloading a file then using an app to inject it which is just a click of a button . There appears to be no input lag at all, all buttons function well , as a note though there doesn't appear to be a way of turning your switch on via the controller you have to manually do that , but otherwise 100 percent recommend this

Worked straight out of the box for my Nintendo switch, my friend can now connect his Xbox controller to it to play alongside me. Joycons just feel too small and not comfortable to use even for my small hands so this way he can use a controller he's comfortable with, some features obviously don't work as he's not using a Nintendo controller of some kind but it's good enough for now. This 8bitdo works on any switch console and let's you use whichever controller you like on it, I think you do need to connect it to a laptop for some software or updates for it to work for some things, but I've not had to so far.

Fantastic piece of kit. I used this to map my Xbox elite controller to a Nintendo switch 2. It was so easy to set up I bought a second to use with my gaming PC. Now I can easily set the profile to remap the switch buttons to an Xbox layout and easily select any layout for steam gaming. Only minor issue is a lack of native Linux app and the software doesn't play nicely with bottles.

Unfortunately, I couldn't pair it with my old Dualshock 3 controller. Can't tell if the issue is the controller or the finicky pairing software. Otherwise, it works great!

This has been really great and has allowed me to use my ps5 controller with the switch 2, this has saved me from spending £65 in a switch pro controller. I’ve not noticed any issues with response time or input lag and it was easy to connect using Bluetooth. For the price, this was definitely worth while for me.

Fantastic little dongle, allowed me to connect my existing PlayStation controllers to my Switch without much hassle. Cheaper than buying another controller! Great.

What a terrible little product this is it’s so cheap and flimsy and honestly doesn’t work any better than the one I already had still get slight lag, the installation was easy and connected easy but I wouldn’t recommend it

I bought this for my Nintendo Switch to enable four player play (having already got a first generation version of this adapter some years ago, which gave me a third). These things are brilliant for giving a new lease of life to old controllers and opening up multiplayer in a cost-effective way, and they work flawlessly in operation - you honestly wouldn't know any difference from native controllers (except for the inherently wrong feeling of controlling Mario with a Dualshock controller!) A note for others: you need one of these adapters for each controller you intend to use, and you can use them just fine with a usb splitter - including on the Nintendo Switch, which is important because the adapters themselves are so wide that you couldn't fit two of them side by side in the Switch's built-in USB ports on the side - possibly the only design flaw of these otherwise brilliant little devices.
