Tropic Bee Orange Blossom Honey, 48-Ounce Bottle

This honey is rich and thick which is reminicent of a high quality honey, and the orange flavor is strong and very orangy this was my first time buying this brand of honey and I have to say that I would purchase it again and would recommend it to all who like orange honey, it is now on my list of favorite honeys that I buy regularly. And for the price it's well worth it.

Considering the price of honey these days, this would be a pretty decent buy if the product were shipped and received fully intact. I received this bottle, which is supposed to have a flip-top lid, with only the lower part of the lid on it. The top, flip part had not only been raggedly broken off it, the missing part was not even in the box! Obviously, the person who packed it could see that the top was broken off, but decided to send it to me that way, regardless. The inner seal was intact, so I decided to keep it, as it would not be worth the cost to send it back. It is delicious honey, with excellent citrus notes. However, noting that another customer also had a packing problem, this seems to be habitual. I would have rated it 5 stars if not for this problem. UPDATE: I have continued to order this product and found there have not been any more packing issues. Therefore, I have upgraded my rating to 4 stars.

Normally we use local honey, but had a heavy baking season and ran out early. Having tasted a similar version, I gave this one a chance. The flavor is quite nice on cereal, as well as in baked goods. It has good thick consistency that is easy to work with. My bread now has a unique mellow flavor that everyone approves of. This was the first time I have ordered honey, but now that we have tasted it, this will not be the last time. This is Exceptionally GREAT honey!!!

We always have three or four types of honey in the house. It is used daily in tea and often in place of refined sugar. This is one of the best for the money and we will be going on the Amazon subscription program with our next order for it. A fresh, light taste, it does not overpower what it is being used with/in.

I gave this 3 stars because it does not have a wonderful hint of orange flavor as stated, and its also very runny. If this was raw 100% unfiltered honey, it would be thicker. The outer plastic safety seal was on the bottle, but the inside seal under the cap was NOT sealed. I hesitated, but since the outer seal wasn't broken, I used it. It tastes good on a sandwich or bagel but its so runny that its messy to eat. It drips out of a sandwich. I will buy the local honey that is thick and probably better for me (local honey helps with local allergies) This is great to use as a sweetener in drinks!

This honey is very good. I cannot say it is the best I have ever tasted, but the price is right for honey I add to bread or other recipes. The orange blossom back taste that I have experienced in other homebrand honeys is missing here.

Before I bought one bottle of the 48 OZ Tropic Bee Orange Blossom Honey, I compared the color against Tropical Blossom Tropical "Wild" Honey on Amazon website. The wild honey looks much darker than the Orange Blossom honey. I decided to try the Orange Blossom honey and bought one bottle. Besides, I already had tried the Wild honey when I bought several bottles a year or two ago. However, when I got the item, the color looked exactly the same as the Wild honey. I put the Orange Blossom honey bottle side by side with the Wild honey bottle. Both bottles were identical. The honey was made from the same manufacturer or company listed on the label. They tasted the same too, even though the labels and brand were different. I feel like I got ripped off. I should have known better that good quality honey would cost much, much more.

I ordered this honey for my 93 year old Father. He uses honey in his tea and to sweeten other items in his home. He has been doing this for as long as I can remember and he knows when he has obtained a product that is outstanding and he absolutely loves this Tropic Bee Orange Blossom Honey. He said that this is the ONLY honey that he will ever use and I plan to keep purchasing it for him. He said a lot of the honey being sold on the shelves do not taste right and I must have purchased over ten varieties for him until I found this product on Amazon. It is not available in any of the stores or speciality shops so I will continue to log on and purchase it from Amazon. I have started using this product myself and IF you love honey, ORDER this brand. You will find it to be outstanding.
