Form and Function perfectly aligned.
I am absolutely in love with this vintage-style keyboard! From the moment I unboxed it, I was struck by the beautiful retro design—it looks just like a classic typewriter, complete with round keycaps and metallic accents. It adds so much charm to my workspace, and I’ve already gotten tons of compliments. Functionally, it performs just as beautifully as it looks. I primarily use the USB connection to hook it up to my computer, and it works flawlessly—no lag, no setup hassles. It also connects perfectly to my iPad Pro via Bluetooth, which is great for working on the go or switching between devices. While the keyboard doesn’t have a number pad, that’s not an issue for me. In fact, it helps keep the design compact and elegant. The tactile feedback is incredibly satisfying—clicky and responsive, giving that nostalgic typewriter feel with modern convenience. The keys are a bit loud but I don't mind the clicky sound. Whether you're a writer looking to romanticize your workflow or just someone who appreciates unique design, this keyboard nails it. Highly recommend, it's a great value for the price.

Fun Retro Keyboard
I’ve been using this retro typewriter-style keyboard for a few weeks now, and it’s a delightful blend of aesthetics and performance, though it’s not without a couple of quirks. Overall, it’s a solid 4-star product that’s won me over. The design is an absolute standout—modeled after a classic typewriter, it’s got that charming vintage vibe with circular, clicky keys that feel satisfyingly tactile. The backlights are a fantastic touch, offering customizable light patterns that make it both functional and a total eye-catcher on my desk. It’s a conversation starter, no doubt, and adds serious personality to my setup. The compact size is a double-edged sword. On one hand, it’s incredibly space-saving, perfect for my small desk or tossing into a bag for on-the-go work. However, the lack of a number pad and the condensed layout took some getting used to, especially for someone like me who occasionally needs to crunch numbers. After a week or so, I adjusted to the smaller footprint, but I still miss the numpad for spreadsheets. Typing feels great—keys are responsive with a pleasing mechanical click, and the build quality (mostly metal with sturdy plastic accents) feels durable. It’s not too loud, which is a plus for shared spaces. The backlight brightness is adjustable, and battery life (for the wireless version) has been reliable, lasting me days on a single charge. My only gripes are the missing number pad and the initial learning curve due to the compact size, which might not suit everyone. Still, for writers, gamers, or anyone who loves a stylish, portable keyboard, this retro gem is a fantastic choice. Four stars for its charm, functionality, and unique flair—just shy of perfect due to the numpad omission.

Old-school look, modern funtionality
I get a lot of positive comments about the keyboard. It takes a bit of getting used to, but it fits with my vintage decor in my newspaper office.

Great keyboard! I'm glad I saved some money going with this one
Pros: -Looks cute. I really like the overall look and color scheme. -Connected to my computer easily. -Responsive keystrokes- There's no delay when typing. The letters appear on the screen just as fast as they do when I type on my laptop keyboard. -I can adjust the backlighting on the keyboard with the little arm on the top left of the keyboard or turn them off completely. There are a bunch of different light modes to choose from- there are flashy settings and more subtle ones. -Can be used in Blue Tooth or USB mode (see the issue that USB mode solved for me below). Cons: (read to the bottom for the solution I found) -This is the issue I removed a star for: It goes to sleep too quickly when you haven't typed for a couple of minute and it takes around 7 seconds to wake back up and connect with your computer again so you can type. It's VERY annoying when I'm reading an email and go to type a response and nothing happens when I hit the keys, so I have to wait for it to reconnect. This happens many times a day when I'm working and it adds a fair amount of irritation to my work days. I haven't found a way to adjust the amount of time it will wait to go to sleep. -SOLUTION: I checked the user manual and it looks like I can switch it to connect via USB (type C) instead of Blue Tooth. I just tried this. I walked away for 5 minutes and came back and the keyboard hadn't gone to sleep at all! So I guess I solved this problem for myself. This also keeps me from having to worry about the keyboard battery dying. -The components are plastic. The only metal I can find is the little stand at the back of the keyboard (I assume this is for your phone or maybe a little notebook (my phone does not fit in this slot, but maybe it would without the case). I think the little dials on either end of the keyboard (left adjust the brightness of the keyboard back light and the right one adjusts the volume on your computer's speakers) are plastic as well. They actually feel well-made, though. The lever at the top left that changes the keyboard backlight setting is plastic- this is the component that seems the most fragile, but it's not something I'd worry about generally unless I accidentally dropped a book on my keyboard or something- in which case the keys may not hold up terribly well either. The keyboard base is also plastic- I chose the wood look. I don't think there's any surprise there, but mentioning it in case you were unsure. Neutral: -The keys definitely make an authentic typewriter sound. This is kind of fun, but could be distracting for some people and I wouldn't recommend it if you share an office because it would likely drive your coworkers crazy! When I'm on a roll and typing super fast, the sound makes me feel like I'm breaking a WPM world record! -The keys have slightly more resistance to being pressed than my laptop keys. It's definitely a different typing experience, but I didn't have any trouble getting used to it when I first got it and I can still type really fast without any problems. I think I've had this keyboard for a few months now and I generally really like it. It's allowed me to put my laptop on a stand so it's at eye-level and helps me to maintain better posture when sitting at my desk. The sleep/wakeup delay in blue tooth mode is my biggest complaint and definitely causes me frequent frustration, but I solved this issue while writing this review by discovering that I can just use it in USB mode! I was worried that I would regret going with the cheaper option- there's a similar keyboard available that's more than double the price and I definitely worried that the price difference would be apparent in the quality. The components of this keyboard are plastic, but they seem fairly durable.
