Perfect for making sorbet
I bought this guar gum powder specifically to make sorbet, and it works perfectly. A very small amount goes a long way, and it blends smoothly when mixed properly, giving the sorbet a noticeably better texture without making it gummy or affecting the flavor. It does an excellent job improving body and scoopability, helping prevent iciness while keeping everything smooth and clean-tasting. The powder is fine and consistent, which makes it easy to measure accurately—important when you’re working with stabilizers. The packaging is simple and practical, and the quantity will last a long time given how little you need per batch. Overall, this is a high-quality guar gum that performs exactly as it should. If you’re making sorbet, ice cream, or other frozen desserts, this is a great stabilizer to have on hand.

Just a tiny bit will do it!
This guar gum powder is exactly what you’d expect. A great value, a pure and simple ingredient with no fillers added, and incredibly effective at what it does. I use it to thicken my protein shakes and homemade ice cream bases for blending in my Ninja Creami, and it’s fantastic at what it does. Make sure you use very little at a time, as it’s very potent. Start with 1/4 teaspoon (or possibly even less!) and work your way up if you feel the need to thicken your base further. Remember, you can always add more but you can never subtract! A bag of this lasts me months of daily shakes, and I always make sure to have a spare in my cabinet. Can’t recommend it enough, it’s fantastic.

Good Product with Nice Packaging
This is my first experience with guar gum, making DIY Li'l Soups for my cat. I ordered from this company mostly because of price and the smaller quantity. It arrived, I tried it, and it's fantastic! All the worries about clumping and whatnot went away when I simply dipped a chopstick in the powder, then stirred it into my broth. That was plenty, for the tiny amounts of "soup." I love this stuff! Now I'm ready to experiment -- bread, sauces, baking, and whatever else.

Gently open the bag so the zipper doesn't break
Works well as an additive. I use it when blending ice cream together. The bag seal broke when I opened it up, otherwise I have been very happy with it

Graet for ice cream at home
I use this for my homemade ice cream in my Creami, just need a 1/4 tsp and it binds the ice cream together without having to use pudding mix!

Great for giant bubbles!
I got this because it is some kind of thickening agent in a recipe for giant bubbles. I have to say it works really good, for that.

Works great in ice cream.
We use this product to make ice cream. It helps keep it from being icy and makes it creamier. Works great!

Not as expected
Purchased for making homemade ice cream… The recipe said to use 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon per batch to prevent ice crystals from forming. Didn’t work… Not sure if Moore will make a difference. A little disappointed, but may have to tweak the recipe a bit. Nothing spectacular about this.
