A good value budget mechanical keyboard, a 96% layout keyboard (100-key counting Fn) priced like a tenkeyless (87-key). - This red switch version is smooth and quiet except for key bottom outs, as you would expect for the linear non-clicky non-tactile switches. Key operation is completely reliable and stabilizers are working fine. - The substantial plastic case bottom really brings this up a notch from other budget mechanical keyboards. When using this on a solid desk with the large feet flipped down it's far more satisfyingly thocky than I was expecting for a budget keyboard - The white and pink w/ shine through keycaps and single colour white LEDs are unremarkable but totally fine; most legends are double-shot but there is top pad printing for the F-keys second functions and nav cluster Fn combinations and the numpad home/end/pgup/pgdn legends Like any rearranged compact layout keyboard (1800, 96%, 75%, etc.), if you're used to a full sized keyboard or regular TKL, you're going to find out in a hurry how much you relied on that space between the different clusters to feel your way around when it's gone :D Also, if you're shopping for replacement keycaps, note that many sets have keycap sizes to suit several different "big" layouts but not ones to suit compact rearranged layouts -- you'll want to check that you have the individual keys you need for this, such as the 1u numpad zero key and small right shift key (1.75u I think?). The basics of the keyboard hardware, switches, keycaps are fine; I have a number of nitpicks all with the layout and behaviour: - There is no application key (a.k.a. "Menu") key you find on a normal "Windows" keyboard -- if you have software that needs this key and you have no practical way to use an alternate configuration for it, maybe this isn't the keyboard for you - The nav cluster End is gone, replaced with an Fn-combination but there is a dedicated key for Print Screen; even as 96% and 1800 layouts go this is not the most common choice, most do the opposite, because it would obviously be better - the End Fn-key combination doesn't work with other modifiers (Shift, Ctrl) however at least maybe you can use numpad End if you need to type these - Like most single color LED budget keyboards, the backlight LEDs of the toggle keys are used as indicators, with the sense reversed -- that is, when Caps Lock is on the backlight of the Caps Lock key is off and vice versa. Unlike tenkeyless boards this one doesn't have a dedicated scroll lock key so doesn't show the scroll lock status. Also there's no way to see the Caps Lock and Num Lock status when the backlight is off -- unlike most budget boards there isn't a backlight off mode for that in the cycle of lighting modes, you just have to turn the LEDs all the way down to off with the brightness control. A collection of little things, but other than the application key only if that applies to you, none seems like a showstopper.

I own a dozen keyboards of various types, but I've settled on the 96% keyboard as my preferred form factor, having all the keys available (some of my use cases require the numpad) and I prefer a mechanical keyboard over the other types. When my daily runner 96% developed a mechanical fault, I do have another keyboard as an emergency, but I need a 96% replacement until I figure out the problem. And a quick search brought me to this one. The value for this keyboard is quite good, by stripping out the fancy-shmancy features, such as no RGB lights (just "cold cyan"), and no wireless (just a female USB-C port). Instead, you find unobtrusive red switches. The keyset has a dark grey / light grey colorway that's aesthetically neutral enough. The keys are your average ABS plastic dual-layer keys that lets light and legend shine through. Though one nice thing is the makers included some extra red keys in the box for the modifiers, WASD, arrow keys, and a couple of numpad keys, why is there a 3-space horizontal INSert key? One thing to nitpick: there is no homing dot or bar on the arrow keys, which makes the arrow keys a bit hard to find unless you are very familiar with this layout. There are some lighting pattern effects, but they are not important. The case itself is dark grey to match the darker keys in the colorway. There are 4 "feet" in the case bottom, and two single-position pop-out feet. The keyboard, being only wired, is plug-and-play, needing no drivers. Another minor nit-pick... The first sample I ordered from Amazon was DOA (dead on arrival), will not light up upon plugging in, and there's really nothing to troubleshoot. Thanks to Amazon's excellent return policy, I got a replacement before I had to send in the old one for exchange. Though the way Amazon shipped this... directly in the keyboard box, with no cushion, may be a part of the problem. All in all, for the price I paid (which is less than HALF of what I paid for my other 96%, albeit that has RGB lights and wireless) this is a good bargain keyboard that serves my needs. Just beware, the 96% does require some compromise in some key sizes if you want to replace the keys with custom keysets. I.e. the regular 104/107 keysets would be missing a few keys to accommodate the 96%. Watch out. Other than that, this is one solid keyboard for a good price.

The keyboard feels nice, there's no space between any section of keys which is taking some getting used to, but I will eventually. It's NOT a UK keyboard meaning that the £ is not displayed on the 3 key like UK spec keyboards, also some other keys are in different places, annoying but something I might get used to, would have been nice for the advert to say what spec keyboard it was since it came from Amazon UK I would have assumed it was UK spec which is why it only gets 4 stars from me, nice to have keys to swap as well. Service was absolutely fine. Keyboard arrived on time.

Super cute🥰 tons of light options. I love that the lights are white and not multicolored. I’m gonna get another one for my office. I got the red switch and the click is nice and not too high pitched.
