This is PERFECT for my desk at work. Many think it is JUST a stylish paper weight lol. They have no idea how calming and healing it is to me. Also, it is silky, smooth to touch. I loved it so much that I purchased 2 more (gold, silver and black). I now have a small “fleet” of these calming kinetic balls. So pretty to watch as they spin. Soothing TRANCE WARNING. Overall, the spinning distracts from anxious feelings while its appearance fools others into thinking they are simply unique decorations for your home or office. We all know there are many fidget spinners and kinetic toys on the market, but this is my hands down favorite. You will not be disappointed! Such a cool little optical illusion! This is such a great grounding toy for kids and people with autism. The size & weight is perfect for taking on the go or for using at a desk, but I did get a carrying case just to keep it extra safe. The durability and quality is great for the price. The price overall is great and I’m surprised that these aren’t being sold for $ more. I did not notice any issue with noise level or any noise at all, it’s perfectly reasonable and doesn’t make any noise. The texture overall is really smooth and I was really surprised at the overall quality. Just really well made and smooth. Looks so cool.

This works as described. It's interesting to watch, and it doesn't move all over the desk. It spins freely without catching or hanging up. The only issue I had with it is that it doesn't hold my attention for very long. I enjoy using fidget toys that, well, I can fidget with. Of course, this is a personal preference. Other than that part, it works fine.

I ordered this as a possible gag gift. I placed it on my desk to look at it right before going into an intense meeting. I sat there spinning it all during the meeting. One of the most productive calm meetings I've attended in months. lol.

Works as intended

Received this nice little decoration for my work desk. First day, I could give it a really good spin and it would keep going for a minute or longer. Now, on the second day, even the best spin stops in 10 seconds or less. Seems to have already had something wear down/loose inside the mechanism. Still looks good but the fact it has already dropped the "performance" to about 1/6 of original in 24 hours, I don't expect the spinning aspect to last even a month.

Fun toy

Its a gadget that spins has a high rolling bearing inside but theres nothing magical or special about it. You spin it and it slows down and stops. I like it though I wouldnt mind if there were magnets to keep it spinning instead or just roller bearings. Still nice to look at.
