Excellent, and durable!
These are amazing, I homeschool my 2 kids and we needed to upgrade to a bigger binder. I didn't want to spend a fortune on this size binder at a store... This is a great price and these binders are very durable. The metal rings are extremely strong. I usually open and close them for my kids because they are so strong that i dont want it to close on their fingers. If using this for an adult, i highly recommend it. Kids as well, but just under adult supervision. 5 stars.

Dirt cheap for light to moderate use
I got several of these for under $4 each - a fraction of what other 3" binders were selling for on Amazon at the time.I'm using them for filing study notes and materials. Although they lack extras like d-rings or one-touch opening, they seem reasonably sturdy given what I'm using them for.

Most amazing binder ever!!!
This binder showed up and I was absolutely blown away! It has hard sides and back, then when you open it, there are three rings. Like magic, if you push two metal tabs on the ends, the rings pop open with a satisfying 'snap!', leaving you room to add all manner of documents. WARNING: The nature of these three rings requires paper that has holes in it. Three to be exact. If the paper you are adding does not have three holes, you will need to use some type of implement to create them if you want the binder to do it's job of keeping the paper in place. You can use a hole punch, nail, hair pin, or perhaps the ends of the rings themselves, but I would caution you not to use fire...due to the flammable nature of most paper; especially if the document you are trying to pierce is one of some importance. Once the selected paper is installed, the rings close with what should now be a familiar snap. Then simply fold over the covers, and your documents are bound. In a binder. Amazing.Okay. So it's a binder. I just thought it was kind of funny when I got the e-mail to write a review.

Side by side comparison this one with a similar one, exact same size and type different make.
These are "Basic." I purchased them to save $. I can't believe how expensive binders are. Maybe it is the metal in the middle. Who knows?I compared this with my Avery heavy duty binder and just got these. I am going to share my first impression of a comparison side by side. There is a difference, right off the bat but it is subtle. You get what you pay for as they say. It is just a matter of what your purposes are for this and how it is cared for.The plastic on the outside compared with the other brand or type I have is thinner more matte. I just pulled these out of the box and have not used them yet.One of them was torn on the outside so far but I ordered five and they were thrown in the box without being secured, think they were damaged in shipping banging against one another. So whom ever you buy it from and how it is shipped may make a difference. The rings in the middle of the binder are shaped differently than the Avery heavy duty side by side but they look in tact from the two samples I have pulled out of the box so far. These feel a little lighter to me.I look for bargains or decent prices I do not want to pay the full retail price. However, I do not want to scrimp too much on quality. I love my brands. That said I think if you are going to have light use and not throw these around and they are shipped properly that they should be okay.I feel as though the price I got these were well worth it. I do not carry mine around alot and they are not in a backpack. I use them to organize bar review materials and law studies and they are kept on a bookshelf for reference. These are okay for that purpose. If a teenager would have them and roughs around or takes their backpack to throw it down or against something with these in it they are not as sturdy or shiny as the Avery.Suffice it to say I think they are a bit more delicate.I am happy with these because they help me keep things organized and they have a competitive price. These are economical and will do for my purposes.

THE BEST ON THE MARKET!!! PAPERS & SHEET PROTECTORS REALLY DO STAY INSIDE THESE BINDERS!!! FANTASTIC BRAND!!!
I WISH I COULD GIVE IT 10 STARS & I WOULD!!!!!!ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE BINDERS!!!!! FINALLY BINDERS WHERE MY PAPERS ACTUALLY STAY INSIDE INSTEAD OF FALLING OUT.WOW, IMAGE THAT??? THIS BINDER DOES WHAT IT'S SUPPOSE TO DO, ALL OF MY WILSON HEAVY WEIGHT TOP-LOADING SHEET PROTECTORS ACTUALLY STAY INSIDE THE BINDER WHEN I AM FLIPPING THROUGH THEM LOOKING FOR SOMETHING. THEY EVEN STAYED INSIDE WHEN I DROPPED THE BINDER ON ACCIDENT!! I HAVE TRIED EVERY, EVERY OTHER BRAND OF BINDERS ON THE MARKET...FROM EVERY STORE OUT THERE AND NONE OF THEM DO THIS.DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON ANY OTHER BRAND, UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE DISAPPOINTED & WANT YOUR PAPERS TO FALL OUT.BUY THESE, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED AT ALL!!!

Decent binder
Great value, a bit flimsy I wish the ring was on the middle of the binder instead of one side to help with paper mobility

Quality 3-ringed binder. I purchased three, and they were in perfect condition and delivered quickly.

Low Quality But Decent Value If You Do Not Overpay
I buy these binders only when they are “on sale” as an Add-on item. They cost $3.24 each for my last purchase. This is a reasonable value for what you get --- a low-quality 3” binder with poor strength. I use these binders only for archiving paper records that I intend to access on a very occasional basis. If you intend to handle the binder frequently, then I would definitely recommend against purchasing this binder. It will not hold up with frequent handling.
