Picked this up for automotive maintenance, especially for CV boots and hose clamps, and it’s been a solid set from day one. It includes all the pieces you need for both inner and outer boot clamps, and they’ve held up well through several repairs. Everything in the kit works as intended. The tools are sized right, feel sturdy in the hand, and give enough leverage to work in tight spaces. The pieces aren’t flimsy or poorly machined like some cheaper sets out there, and they haven’t shown any signs of wear after multiple uses. Any problems I had? 100% user error. At first, I struggled a bit figuring out how to properly use a couple of the tools, but once I watched a quick video and practiced, it all made sense. The tools themselves did exactly what they were designed to do. I bought this setup to repair a CV boot clamp that had broken. The clamp went on easy although you'll need to wrap the extra strap material around inside of itself to take up the difference. The tool also worked well although a little small in the handle. It worked well and keeps the boot in place again. For the price and quality, I think this is hard to beat if you don't need a huge kit for the occasional repair. I highly recommend it.

2002 chev 2500hd 4x4 used to reseal front drive shaft boot to the shaft. ( I mistakenly pulled the front drive shaft off for unrelated reason ) Kit came with plenty of straps and the pliers are sturdy, operated smoothly and it’s an intuitive process.

I was pretty excited to receive this kit, it looked like a great value and easy to use. However, it actually was pretty difficult to get a good seal on my CV axle I was repairing. I know there are other tools to help tighten, but the issue I was running into was with the clamps themselves. The ear that you're supposed to use the pliers to crimp to get a better seal is just slightly obtuse, so even though the pliers are decent quality and WANT to bite onto the ear, they just can't, they kept slipping. I only needed one large clamp, but, all of them had this issue, including the smaller size. So, the pliers I am happy with, but, the clamps themselves... just weren't easy to use. I don't have a vice, otherwise I probably could have bent the ears in to work better, so, if you have one, this could definitely work for you. Price is great, but would take a bit more effort than other kits may

Worked for minor car repair. Probably not the best quality but they are easy to instal and have held up for a few months. So far I would recommend them.

They would not even start to crimp the clamp!!! used a pair of tile nippers! they work excellent.
