the best hair pin!!!
this is the easiest bun pin I have ever used in my life. it stays all day long (you may have to redo the bun for the perfect position) and the little bent over part is perfect for tucking in the ends of my hair. flexible yet sturdy. throwing my hair up has never been quicker. yay!

Super easy to use, holds hair great, very strong , highly recommended
I am buying second one just in case I might loose my first one. I am amazed how easy to use this little thing ! It takes me 2 seconds to create a bun or French twist kind of updos , and it holds it all day and it is very strong. And has no metal or wood , no fear to make it wet, Good for to the beach or pool. Wish more colors but you can't really see much of it anyway. Great item!

Almost perfect, very sturdy.
It would e perfect if it were about 1/2" longer and maybe a little wider, however it does a much better job than any other hair fork/clip I have bought. My hair is medium-fine in texture, thick in density, somewhat wavy, and falls to mid-bum length, I have to wear it up in a bun under a hat for work, so I have been seeking an alternative to my hair sticks. This clip works quite well and I usually only have to re-inset it once during a ten hour shift.

This clip works best when my hair is one day dirty (or sprayed ...
My hair is naturally wavy, medium thick, and long (reaches my mid-back, with a few long layers). This clip works best when my hair is one day dirty (or sprayed with dry shampoo), or when it is curly with product. I like putting it in a ponytail high on my head, twisting my hair into a bun, and fastening the hair with this clip. Once secured, I pull my hair to create a fluffy bun and make it soft and pretty. It's perfect for a quick morning updo before work. I keep several handy in different places -- purse, car, bathroom -- and have given a few as gifts. If your hair is thin, soft or short, it's probably not for you.

but there are other hair forks available on Amazon that do a better job with less effort
I purchased this because of the reviews, but I think I have too much hair for it to properly hold it in place. It is well made, but there are other hair forks available on Amazon that do a better job with less effort.

Piece of crap
This Conair thing does NOT work. I have long hair, mid chest length, and fairly thick. This Conair clip slips out of my hair EVERY time, and is difficult to use. Makes sloppy updo's that don't stay put. Do not buy this piece of crap! After trial and error with several other types of updo clips, I ended up buying the "Good Hair Days prong chignon", and I love it. It works perfectly every time, makes beautiful no-slip updo's and buns, and is self-explanatory to use: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00H5BCPF0/ref=yo_ii_img Good luck! :)

The hair pin is too thick and the material too ...
The hair pin is too thick and the material too soft to really be effective. The edges are also rough, so pulls at my hair when I am trying to weave it into my hair. Not something I will buy again.

Versatile Updo Clip
I bought this updo clip in Oct. 2015 and I love it! I had purchased many, many other updo clips and combs but none of them worked like this. I have waist length hair - fairly thick. I usually pull my hair back with a ponytail band. Then I braid my hair into one long, fat braid and twist it around into a bun. I tuck the end of my braid into the ponytail band so it won't slip out and then finally, I hide the band inside and underneath the bun by pushing it in, tugging the outside parts of the braided bun over it. Then I anchor the bun by using this clip - running one of the prongs into the binder band and through the hair closest to my scalp then up into the other side of the braided bun. It never falls out - even after freshly washed and styled hair. I like to straighten my hair since my hair can get frizzy. Using various products sometimes makes my hair so smooth that nothing holds - not even bobby pins. This clip is the only one that holds regardless of how smooth my hair is. The trick is anchoring it into the band. I've just ordered another one so I can explore other hair styles using two of these. The material is very strong polymer plastic so it's more an everyday kind of updo clip but I've used it with a small decorative claw clip over the crown that lays on top of the hair - just clip around it. You may need to explore a bit before you find how to secure the claw clip properly.

Difficile de trouver le mode d'emploi mais quasi magique lorsque c'est fait!

I have been using it since almost a week. An excellent product. As shown in photograph, the two prongs of this clip are curved in two planes, giving it an excellent grip and of course as it is made of carbon fibre, flexibility with strength is inherent. Ease and comfort of use are an added feature.
