Gardetto's Special Request Garlic Rye Chips, Snack Bag, 8 oz (Pack of 12)

So yummy. Not always easy to find at store.

These Gardettos are fantastic!

The flavors are awesome, a very fun taste treat. Love these anytime but especially great when watching a movie.

I used to eat all the garlic chips out of a bowl of Gardetto's Snack Mix, which pissed everyone off. Then one day at one of Love's Tuck Stops, I found these Gardetto's Roasted Rye Chips hanging on the rack with all the other chips, and bought a bunch. Knowing they exist, I started looking everywhere else, but never did find them in any of the stores I happened to be in. The closest Love's Truck Stop was 75 miles away, so the last time I bought a few bags, I scanned them with my iPod, and found that Amazon sells them. Plus, Amazon also has them in 8 oz bags at a lower price than the 4.75 oz bags from Love's with free shipping on a case of 12 ($29.52 = $2.46 per bag, where Love's was around $2.59, or $2.69 per bag). I see this as a win-win situation, except my wife has discovered my cache, since 12 bags are a little hard to keep secret. It's a good deal, is what I'm passing along.

I could not find these chips in local stores, so I decided to search Amazon and voila! I really didn't want to order 12 bags without trying them first, but I trust reviews on Amazon, and we could always use them as doggy treats. (My dogs eat anything!) These chips, as one reviewer notes, are not healthy snacks...not even close. But they are tasty chips, and that's what I was looking for! They are almost perfect for home made chex mix snacks. I say almost because of the thickness. That's the only aspect I would change in these chips...the thickness. I would prefer these chips to be a little thinner, so that it's not too much of one thing in each bite of chex mix. So I break them up in the mix and they work fine. As far as "unhealthy", they are that! But that's what makes a snack, a snack! I try to limit fats, sugars, and calories so that I can enjoy them occasionally, and not make a meal out of them. I've had cancer once, and a good friend (who is a health nut) is going through it now, so I don't take my health lightly. But at the end of the day, we will all return to dust. So let the chips fall where they may (pun intended)!!!

I used to buy this at Target but I didn't find it there anymore! I was thinking was it just that good, it sold out each time or is it discontinued. I looked no further and decided to type Rye chips on Amazon and wah-la!, it popped up! I quickly bought it and I would say it's decent priced for a 12-pack for $30. I do wish it was cheaper but this is hard to find, so it makes up for it. Great salty snack and would buy again. If you haven't tried it, give it a go! It's a very crunchy snack so you'll find yourself chewing a lot. Exercise for the mouth!

I orders a box of 12 for $46. I received 1x 8oz packet in the mailbox (delivery notice stating as much). Further, most of them crushed or broken into pieces. How is the is possible? Who packaged and delivered these? Gardetto’s are good, but not that good!. $46 is a lot for one bag! Poor form!

Love the taste and crunch! Packaging horrible-box was crushed and so were the chips.😒
