Excellent ESC/Receiver combo for the Axial SCX24 Micro-Crawler. You do need to get the Transmitter that works with this. It is also made by Horizon Hobby. It is a direct replacement for the current electronics in the SCX24 but will not work with the current transmitter. That said it is worth the money to swap them out. Then afterwards if you only run one crawler at a time you can use the same transmitter for multiple receivers by simply holding bind button on transmitter when powering it on then the ESC/RX. It is a much smoother crawling feel than the current electronics. It and a $11 motor upgrade makes my budget crawler crawl better than my custom crawler with a tunable ESC and brushless motor. I also purchased the Amazon Resell for 30% off and it is brand new minus the damaged factory package. So don’t hesitate buying Used - Like New and save the money. You still have the same amount of time to return it if it is bad. Very easy to use and swap out the Spektrum ESC. This is a game changer for your stock-ish SCX24.

I got my first esc and there was no motor function so they sent a replacement....still no motor function..i then binded another remote from a different scx24 and it worked fine..my bad lol..remote trigger stopped working. Quick replacement though!

Direct replacement for the one my son shorted out on our SCX24. Works great.

Although this is not the best ESC / Receiver combo out there, I really like it for the the functionality of all the ports. I find that the speed control is sub par, but it is easy to use and allows me to plug in a lot of lights and accessories. The value for the money is a 7/10.

before i replaced this part the steering was super glitchy and didnt turn all the way the throttle always went forward even when i wasnt touching the remote and the throttle trim did nothing but once i replaced it the truck worked like new

Purchased this with the four-channel transmitter to add controls for the lights and to have low and high gears on the dodge power wagon and it does the job very well.
