I purchased the container specifically because it is geared toward regular sewing thread spools and not cones. The container is very nice. The plastic appears to be of good quality and there are no rough edges. It has a small compartment in the lid to put sewing needles, needle threaders, a small pair of scissors, and a seam ripper. Because of its size and locking ability, it can easily be transported to retreats, workshops/classes, etc. I will definitely be buying more of these containers to replace my other non-locking containers.

Love it! Fits 1000m spools of thread perfectly. Finally found something portable and sturdy that allows me to organize my thread nicely. It snaps together easily but also stays together when transported. It’s compact too. I even buy layers/another one and snapped all the layers together to make one tall portable spool holder. Only thing I’d like it to have is a compartment/layer for scissors, rotary blade, etc. and a layer for the bobbins. Then it would be the ultimate purchase.

This storage box perfectly stores multiple spools of thread as well as multiple sizes of spools. I only have a few spaces left so I ordered another one for some additional purchases I plan to make soon. Very happy with this organizer!!

It’s easy to pop off each level. Rolls stay on easily. I can put fat and thin ones on. I’ve grouped my trays by color. Suggestion: make a level for bobbins.

I will give it that, as my thread was all over the place and now it is well organized. However, it is very thin and flimsy and discount store quality. I am not sure how this will hold up as its low-grade workmanship. Difficult to snap together, even following where to line up placement. The top has some storage for things such as needle, seam ripper, bobbins and such. Overall, it does the trick but does not appear to be sustainable long term.

Great for organizing sewing thread.

I've purchased this item on three separate occasions and I've never had an issue with them. They stack nicely, no worrying about one of the snaps coming undone when you pick this up by the handle, which is an issue I've had with another brand. My Gutermann spools, regular size and 274 yard size, fit nicely. I have my threads organized by color and the clear plastic makes it easy to see which layer has the thread that I'm looking for. Highly recommend.

The storage boxes arrived in very good order well packaged. They are made of clear plastic. The spools are visible and kept under control. It brings orderliness into your sewing place. I expect them to be of good use.

Die Aufbewahrung ist super. Da passt mein gesamtes Stickgarn rein. Habe alle vier Etagen voll. Sogar die 800m Spulen von Mettler passen. Auch das Zubehör wie Schraubendreher, Spulen usw. passt oben in dem kleinen Fach im Deckel. Werde mir noch eine zweite kaufen für mein Nähgarn. Ich bin positiv überrascht. Eine klare Empfehlung.

I love these! The measurements of the trays were bang on, so they fit perfectly in my trolley drawers, as I had planned based on measurements given by the seller, with room for tools along the side. The item description said that 500m brothread spools would fit upright. My brothread spools are 600m and didn’t fit with every spool upright, but that is ok because I wanted to put a spool every other pin anyway so that I could put the corresponding bobbin next to its thread. Each pin will hold 2 bobbins. I also love that if I ever take my sewing on the road, I have a portable case for my thread. You don’t need to stack all 4 trays to take with you either, you can just take one (or two) if that’s all you need. I would order again!
