Pulsar Axion Key Thermal Monocular

For the price, you can't beat it. I started in coyote hunting this year for a new sport. I didnt want to spend a great amount for something I'm not going to use much. It has been great for spotting other hunters in the group I go with. I would upgrade to the newest model. I have seen through both and quality is definitely greater in the newer models. As most things, they should get better over time. Recommend all pulsar products!!

This is awesome! Fits easily in my pocket. No animal or person can hide from you in the dark. I use it to locate varmints that I am hunting at night. I have also used it to find downed deer shot at dusk. Saved a lot of time. Good battery life, recharges quickly and easily. I go outside most every night and enjoy watching opossums, raccoons, deer, flying squirrels, owls, foxes, and beavers.

I have tested multiple Thermal Monoculars in this price range. There is not one of them as good as the Axion Key XM-30. This has the furthest range compared to all the competition, the highest FOV screen, not to mention constant support from the Pulsar. With constant updates the image quality can be improved with ever innovation.

The Pulsar Axion Key Thermal Monocular is better than my night vision camera. The range and clarity of this camera is awesome. It will take videos and pictures and is the main reason I bought the camera

The media could not be loaded. I compared this with the scout, which had hit or miss reviews. Some said it couldn’t pick up anything past 50yds and we wanted a thermal for awhile to detect predators and see deer for fun.Hubs has a night vision infrared scope on his rifle, so uses this for spotting coyotes and other predators.The video is poor, but it gives you an idea, no one else had one online.You can see a couple of the different settings. I like red-hot. There are two things in the video emitting heat, one being an electrical box about 150ydsYou can detect antlers to some degree, which is pretty neat. Obviously the closer they are, the easier it is.It’s quite the hefty price, but it’s the only toy, other than the nightvision which I am interested in. If someone is at my barn I can see them.Note— you cannot see crap, even up close, if they are behind shrubbery. I was disappointed with this.Also, if you kinda go side to side while scanning One direction , it is easier to spot the color differences (like white/red) on creatures.Viewer is small, as you can see... and it auto focuses which is nice, but again you may want to compare with the scout which is half the price.

It works very well, I seen coyotes hiding in the shadows on my tree line stalking my Yorkie. I haven't used it hunting yet but I can't wait to.

Box was kinda mashed when received, no battery charger was included and maybe some instructions missing. Already in the middle of returning the ATN I ordered and after speaking with ATN they said it was defective and to return the unit so I figured I would upgrade to this unit. What features it has works great, not sure about the freezing and clicking sound, does not take pics or video.

This works very well for the price and size. I am very impressed. It is also super easy to use.
