I have previously owned one of the “home” models of the TimeTimer. I like these as they help with ADHD focus time. It shows how much time is left in a session. They are quick and easy to set and immediately count down. I’m super sensitive to even the lightest sounds and this makes zero noise as it counts down. I love that you can disable the ringer at the end too. I use it to get in the zone. So if the time ends while I’m in the zone I don’t want it distracting me. I want to keep going and I like that this does it. This model is an improvement over the Home model. I like the interchangeable silicon housing cover. It allows you to customize it without buying a whole new timer. The silicone is also just nicer anyway as it grips to the desk and is nice to handle. This model accepts a small screw over the batter compartment to kids don’t take the battery out if this is in school or you have a concern about that. I don’t but it’s a change over the home model. The build quality of this one is much better than the home model as well. It is sturdier and slightly larger. The red timer backing is also better than the Home model. This one doesn’t have the time clear tab over the timer part. Most people won’t care about this but it shows that it’s higher quality and a cleaner timer face as well. I’m happy with this one. I’ll probably buy more in the future and I’ll always buy this model over the Home going forward. It’s only a few dollars more and worth it in my opinion.

As an ADHD, this thing helps me get things done. So often, I procrastinate until there's no time left to get the job done. This automatically imposes the urgency of "running out of time" so that I stop procrastinating and get to work. Fabulous tool if you work from home like I do.

Excellent product - I use this for focusing any task at work in 15 or 30 minute intervals. The red indicators for how much time is left during sessions is pretty ingenious. I leave the alert sound off. Silent operation, and dial set is very smooth. Highly recommend for anyone who needs to focus on tasks, whether at work or school.

Simple, straightforward, easy to use and understand, portable, well built, and has made transitions so much easier. This little gadget has helped my family manage time much more effectively than phone timers and other non-visual strategies. The optional alarm is gentle but effective at announcing “time’s up!”

Used for 3+ months now. I saw that for some people it stopped working after few weeks but fortunately that didn't happen to me. It is a pretty straightforward concept and although I wish it was cheaper I don't not like this. I tend to lose track of time when I am really focused and I oftentimes use this timer to visually perceive how much time passed by. I don't really use the alarm sound. It is relatively quiet although not tick-less. You can hear it in quiet environments, but this is close to silence compared to one of those cheap wall clocks.

Great for breaking down big tasks - especially those that I don't want to do. If you still like 'perspective' in things - i.e. no descent into showing just the exact minute in time (digital) you will enjoy this timer. Only minus is a soft and short alarm sound, but so what, you have the vanishing red timer to see - and see how much time has passed and how much you have left. Great way to get the most done within a specified time frame.

I absolutely love this timer. It helps my children who can’t tell time not feel like time is taking forever. I love that the kids can set the time and watch it go down. Asking them to do tasks for a certain amount of time is not a chore anymore, but more of a game Because they get to participate in the setting of the time. It has an alarm button and a silent button. We honestly use it more with the noise so I can hear it too and they can’t just run the time out without me knowing, but it does have a loud beep (3 or 4 beeps) and then it goes quiet if it has the silent mode. I also very much like the silicone cover. Helps protect the plastic from the rambunctious kids as well as making it more fun and able to see around the house. All the friends that come over always want to play with it too.

Easy to see the time left, good time control tool

There's a button in the back to turn on and off the alarm once the time run out, but it doesn't work. I tried many times, and with no success. Very disappointed.

This was recommended to use with main stream daughter and special needs daughter. Letting them know how long they have to carry out specific task or how long they have left on social media.....works a treat. Excellent and simple to use. Recommend

Reading the reviews I was bit worried the product will stop working after a while but few months passed and all is working fine and its my favourite timer while learning. Looks amazing on desk and I use it as an adult, both on silent and bip bip mode. Highly recommend for everyone who value design and practicality.
