Very flimsy. very difficult to set. Tried numerous times each time the grommet either fell out broke or left very sharp edges. Not fit for purpose.

A good option if you need to attach eyelets into fabric. Overall works well as long as you strike the die clean.

I bought this to add some eyelets to some fabric I wanted to hang. The tool wasn’t very sharp, I struggled to get it to cut through two layers of fabric, but with perseverance (and my partners strength) we managed to hammer it through. The eyelets are poor quality and the metal shaft split on the back when we tried to set the eyelet which left sharp metal bits sticking out, I tried using a mallet and varying strength hits, but still 4/5 split on the back.

The die had not been cleaned when made in the factory and so spoiled the first piece of material on which it was used by making an oily stain on it. It was also blunt and so would not punch any holes, even in thin fabric. The eyelets are very flimsy, and each inner ring that has been used so far has split, leaving sharp edges that make the fitment unsafe to leave in the material. Refund requested!

Purchased this to convert ready-made handbags into dog walking bags (poo bag dispenser) There are no instructions on how to use it. I had to go on YouTube. I placed a piece of leather under the area I was punching the hole out, to protect the bottom layer, despite doing this, it still partially cut through the underlayers. I would recommend using a piece of wood! The hole cuts are a little uneven, so I had to finish them off with scissors. Despite this, it worked well for what I wanted it to do and I can see I will have further use for them.

I used these as eyelets for curtains, I found it impossible to press them together neatly with the tools provided, I eventually gave up and used a hot glue gun to secure everything together.
