Great little ice maker! I own two of these one at home and one in my camper. We never run out of ice! Keeps up with all our entertainment needs. Good size ice cubes! Fast recovery! Happy camper with this appliance….

It is so simple and easy to use and it generates ice with no effort other than pouring in water. I have had it running for days now and have accumulated pounds of ice. It surprises me how quickly it generates the ice. Since ice has jumped up to over $2.00 per 5 pounds this little machine will save me a lot of money!

I absolutely LOVE this ice maker. It’s quick and the cubes are perfect every time. We have an ice maker in our fridge, but we only use Berkey filtered water so we turned off the water supply to it. After making cubes in the Magic Chef with filtered water we just pour the cubes into the Fridge ice maker and it works great ... and we all like the cube shape better. This ice maker is also portable so we can take it with us in our RV. One minor downside: the only indicator that the ice maker is full is a tiny red light. I don’t always see it right away. A bell of some sort would make this product perfect.

I've researched and watched videos, etc., for months to find a really good ice maker for the countertop. I read article after article and review after review, then I ordered this one. I absolutely hate this product ! "large" ice cubes consist of 1" long, .5" wide, HOLLOW ice cubes ! They are not even solid ! How in the heck is THIS supposed to chill a drink of anything?? Does it make cubes every 7 minutes ? Yes. They start re-melting immediately if you don't get them into a freezer asap. It makes about 8 - 10 "ice cubes" at a time. It would take a full hour to fill the basket, and that's even with the basket being small enough to put a small box of velveeta in it. I would return it, but my window for returns closed yesterday. I find this confusing, because the policy I ordered it under had unlimited return window as long as I had the box and all pieces still in good condition. I had this thing on for about 1 hour, and was so frustrated, I just turned it off and unplugged it. Do NOT waste your hard earned cash on this !

I got this for my mom for her birthday and she loves it . Its easy maintenance to clean , just put it over the sink , let the water out from the hole at the bottle , wipe it down and plug it back up to make the ice again. it makes 2 different size ice cubes and takes not even 30 minutes to fill up the machine. its a nice size so it can fit on any counter top or small space. 10/10 ill recommend , shes had it for about 3/4 years now and it still works like new.

It does make ice quickly but, it’s so LOUD!!!! It says that it’s quiet! Wrong!

I've had this running almost non stop for nearly two months. I've drained it twice when I went out of town but other than that it runs like a top 24-7. It is a little noisy at times but I'd imagine the same from other units. Keep your expectations realistic - these aren't refrigerated so cubes will melt, stick together, form a block if you place them in your freezer, etc. I either take ice directly from the ice maker or dump the bin in to a silicone box I found for storing compostables. With the silicone box I can just smack it against the counter a few times after the wet ice cubes have stuck together and it's good to go until empty. The drain is a little fiddly to use so I'd recommend letting it make ice until the water level is extremely low, dumping that ice, and then draining the minimal amount of water that remains. I pull the unit off the edge of the counter top and pull the plug with a quart mason jar beneath. Then leave the lid open to dry everything out while I'm away.

It makes more than enough ice for me. The ice cubes are just the right size. Its easy to use and I just wipe it down with a damp cloth.

This has been one of the more important purchases we've made in the last year! Our family is very much a beverage family, and we love our iced drinks but are always forgetting to refill our ice trays in the freezer. This has saved us so much hassle!

Bought this based on previous reviews. Didn't take long to clean and setup. Had ice within 7 minutes. Really enjoy the fact that if you don't take the ice out fast enough, it melts back into the reservoir so it can be re-frozen. Needs to be emptied into another container and then placed in a freezer. Does not have freezing (storing) capability. We took it camping and worked perfectly.
