I needed to take apart an outdoor fireplace, and at first, I was using a chisel—but I kept breaking bricks and struggling with the mortar. Excellent blade retention. I have been using these on cement board which eats up anything else you cut it with. Great product and much cheaper then the big box stores

Once I got it set up on my 4 1/2" Craftsman, it was eager to cut. Wear a face shield, don't be a fool. The depth you can cut is limited. I use it mostly for trims and nips on rock that's already stuck to the wall. Very pleased with the performance, my sense is, this first of two blades will go a long time before I need to change out. Update 12/11/25 It lasted all summer, right up to finishing "rockin' the house". I used it extensively on the last side during Sept. & Oct., doing trims away from the house. I have the entire garage to do now, and it will certainly give me a lot of service when I start that project.

This blade cuts fast and holds up well. I have mostly cut pavers with it, but some concrete as well. There might be better blades out there, but the relative value of this one will keep it in my toolbox for the foreseeable future. I like the 5 inch diameter, a lot of 4.5 inch angle grinders will accommodate a 5 inch blade, and the extra half inch results in less cuts when I am working with a lot of standard thickness pavers.

I purchased this to open up foundation cracks to allow sikaflex epoxy to penetrate properly. Before getting to that task I ended up helping a neighbor who does excavation work. He needed to get a line across a private gravel road and hit major ledge. We're used to that on the rocky coast of Maine, but we couldn't find a path around it and he broke a tooth on his full sized excavator. An 80,000lb John Deere 345. Anyway, I remembered these blades and ran back home. The 5in fit fine on my Milwaukee M18 angle grinder. In less than an hour I carved a 6 inch channel in very hard granite about six feet long. The blade plunged right in and I made relief cuts about every 1/2" then broke out the pieces using a chisel bit on my Bauer SDS plus rotary hammer drill. It's actually great, everything else I have is Milwaukee. I had to take it in layers and start wide enough to accommodate the head of the angle grinder as I worked down to the desired depth. The first blade was still cutting like there's no tomorrow. I couldn't be happier with these and am ordering more before they change anything.

Used these segmented blades to cut through concrete stucco during reno work and they performed great. Clean, fast cuts with minimal effort. I only needed one of the two blades in the pack for the entire job and it’s still going strong. Definitely outlasted and outperformed the cheaper ones I bought locally. Solid value and quality.
