I recently purchased this Storage Container to store my Epsom salts, and it has been an excellent choice! It fits a good amount without taking up too much space in my bathroom cabinet. The hinged lid with silicone seal ensures that my Epsom salts stay fresh and dry. This prevents any moisture from getting in, which is crucial for maintaining the quality of the salts. While it's designed for rice/grain storage, this container is incredibly versatile. It works perfectly for my Epsom salts, but I can see it being useful for other dry goods in the kitchen and around the house. The scoop included is a bonus! It's a practical, well-made product that meets my needs perfectly. I highly recommend it.

We purchased this for cat food storage and it's perfect. The lid holds well enough that the cats can't open it. The scoop is the perfect size for small cat dishes. The container is the right size to fit in spaces near the cat dishes, but big enough to hold most of a smaller bag of cat food. Very durable product built with good tolerances. I'm getting more of these for things like coffee pods and tea bags that are unsealed the minute you open the cardboard or non-resealable bags they come in. Since it's clear, you can tear out the labels on whatever boxes the coffee/tea come in and put them against the glass to see what's inside, and then isolate teas from coffees and each other with sandwich bags in the container.

I'm using these containers to store grains for milling at home. Perfect size that holds a 5 pound bag (can hold about a pound more). Keeps everything air tight and the scoop makes it easy to measure the amount needed for milling.

This storage container is of good quality and looks nice. I'm using it for cereal (love the included scoop), but it would be ideal for other foods as well. I like the size of it, too. It's a little pricey, but competitive with other similar storage containers I've found.

Seals well, holds up great. Quality item. Does it hold a 5lb bag of rice? Yes. But EXACTLY. Meaning you can’t refill it when it’s low, you have to wait until it’s entirely empty. Which I don’t like. It also doesn’t have an easy grip, so it maybe difficult to pick up for those who are elderly or have arthritis. I plan to use it for oatmeal or something. Id recommend something 3 or even 3.5 qts for a 5 lb bag of rice.

I use this size container for my 3# stone ground flour mill flour. They work well. Excellent seal and closure. The 5# dedicated flour container is too big for the flour supplier I get my organic flour from (and yes good flour makes a difference in your baked goods!). My original order had 1 container completely broken at the top and the other had a hole on the bottom. Amazon replace it immediately. I was just sorry the company allowed obviously defective products to be sold - with sealed plastic bags around them.
