Should have worked, only there are many different size HDMI plugs, and of course, I got the wrong ones. Very good quality, with heavily braided cable. So best to very carefully check plug sizes.

Worked for a Raspberry Pi
I thought the ipad display I bought was faulty. Multiple cables did not work. Bought this cable and it worked straight away. Very happy with the quality of the cable and will buy again in the future for other projects.
