Master Tailgaters 10.5" OEM Rear View Mirror with 4.3" LCD Screen + Compass & Temperature | Rearview Universal Fit Mount | Auto Adjusting Brightness LCD | Anti Glare | Full Original Mirror Replacement

I needed to replace my 2007 Ford Focus rearview mirror because it was beginning to flake around the edges. I searched for the right price and features. Most important to me was a temperature gauge (hard to find!) since my car doesn't have one from the factory. I like knowing when icy conditions are upon me. This was a great price & fairly easy to install, if you've ever connected a car stereo. The old mirror was super-easy to pull out (after watching a 58 second youtube video), and this one slid right on easy. I ran the cables through the headliner, around the windshield pillar and up underneath the dash back to the radio (where I knew I could tap into 12v ACC power.) The hardest thing was running the temp sensor to the front of the car. I didn't want to drill in to the firewall, so I ran it through the door to the engine compartment, and zip-tied it along the way. Sync'ing the GPS for direction specification was easy. The mirror works great with an auto-dim (I commute early-morning). I haven't used the back-up camera feature yet, it was just a bonus for me, and I'll look for a cheap one. The only problem is that the green light to the right of the "power" button on the bottom is kinda bright for night. I think I'll get used to it.

IN MY OPINION THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST QUALITY BACKUP MIRRORS ON THE MARKET, IT NOT ONLY HAS A GREAT QUALITY BACKUP CAMERA BUT ALSO A COMPASS WHICH WAS A BREEZE TO CALIBRATE AND TEMPERATURE PROBE WHICH I MOUNTED JUST BEHIND THE LEFT HEADLIGHT. OVERALL A GREAT PRODUCT THAT I WOULD AND HAVE RECOMMENDED TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR THIS TYPE OF PRODUCT.

I got 3 different ones and none of them worked, and yes I know your thinking that I hooked them up wrong. But I'm a ASE trained service tech I have 20 years in the car business, I'm and Jeep, Ram, Uconnect expert and I have many other certification. I can assure you I know what I'm doing.

seems good so far, the temp and compass backlight seems to get confused at dusk/dawn lighting, will get little bright and little dimmer, nothing distracting though. I paired with a BOKA license plate camera and seems to look ok, the screen is small so its hard to tell if its clear or not.

This is an awesome system. This mirror looks stock and is very discrete. I have used for 4 months now and love it. Recently my camera went out so I contacted the company about returning the product. Fast reply to my concerns and willing to look at the mirror. However I finally found out the issue was not the product but the camera. The mirror works great. Props to tailgate masters for their reply and commitment to a great product. Mounted my camera on my canopy and can see objects very well in the LCD. I really like the temp feature that is added safety and peace of mind. It is nice to know when the temps are at freezing and extra caution needs to be used on the roads. One last thing camera systems are not a replacement for your mirrors! Always use your side mirrors when backing up.

Overall hooking it up fairly easy calibrating a compass pain in the rear got to rotate the mirror two times in the counterclockwise rotation do it too many times and you'll break the wires in it and it will quit and then drive around in circles and then the compass never comes on in the right direction drive a little bit then it recalibrates itself Auto dimming is always on but then does not turn it off Auto dimming is on night and often a day the compass and temperature can sometimes be hard to see in the day but it all works it's supposed to I think it's a little pricey how complicated it is this calibrate the compass doesn't work exactly as it should have no control over when it's them or not them it should have two buttons one for dinner one for compass calibration the same button if you hold too long screws with the calibration temperature and backup camera work perfect

display is ok and it was fairly easy to install. temp sensor quit working after 4 months cant find replacement very disapointing. buyers be aware.

Added in an OEM back up camera to a 2010 Ford E350 Super Duty cargo van to assist with backing up. This slotted into the interior and looks stock. Nicely made, and the video display looks great! The compass IS a bit fiddly, but if you don't need that option, then find the model that excludes that feature. Recommended!
