Got what I expected and wanted
The hoops are substantial but not too heavy, so I can believe they are sterling though I don't see the .925 stamp (no really inconspicuous place to put it, I suppose). Based on the photo, I wasn't expecting and didn't want polished or super shiny hoops, so the matte look is fine and still catches the light because of the hammered surface. They come in a velveteen Shaesby pouch to protect them from scratches or tarnishing. Plus, they're made in the USA. My only concern, as with all earrings with a snap-down closure, is the durability of the mechanism. The list price seems a bit much, but I purchased mine substantially discounted.
