Classic's Lime Sulfur Pet Shampoo - Pet Care and Veterinary Solution for Itchy and Dry Skin - Safe for Dog, Cat, Puppy, Kitten, Horse

We used this on our cats when we had an insect problem one summer. We turned to this product after trying to do a sulfur dip, which was a huge, horrible, stinky mess — and tricky since you don't want to get that in your pets' eyes. Yes, this shampoo stinks a bit, but it's not terrible and our cats' fur was soft afterward, with little residual smell. I bought this product several times and definitely recommend it.

This works great. Used it on 2 of our dogs who would not stop scratching and were loosing hair. Within a few days they stopped itching and the issue was resolved. I will say it does stink. Makes your home smell like rotten eggs for a bit. But the smell does go away. Will buy again if ever need to.

This product worked well for our cat with a bacterial infection, but the added lavender scent did nothing to mask or help with the sulfur smell. Fortunately it almost all rinsed away, although I still caught wiffs of sulfur over the next day. It did not dry out her skin too much and her coat was really soft afterwards.

I’m so thankful I found it! It saved me and my cats from a severe mite infestation. I left it on them for a good 15-20 mns using a cone or neck guard so they wouldn’t lick themselves. Treatment took months but we eventually cleared it.

It didn't help my dog. It made her worse. And the smell is soooo horrible!

great product but showed up half empty and spilled everywhere. only way to get new one to send back messy old one half full. not worth the time'

My little guy had a skin condition that was diagnosed as everything from allergies to “non-contagious ringworm” (hint: there’s no such thing!) Tried many Rx & OTC shampoos, creams, lotions, ointments & pills. Nothing worked, until I found this shampoo. Only took about four baths with this and the condition has been completely cleared up ever since. I saw this mentioned in a review for a different product: someone commented ‘don’t use this one, get Lime Sulfur Pet Shampoo.’ So glad I did!

Our shelter kitties came home with mild ringworm and this, plus medication, cleared it up in a week or two! It’s stinky so wear gloves and maybe open a window. This shampoo can tarnish silver but the silver can be cleaned with a jewelry cloth, again, wear gloves!
