Foxtail Fetch Ball for Dogs - Easy to Throw Dog Fetch Toy by Cassidy Labs

We have a 6 month old golden retriever. He weighs 65 lbs. This foxtail is his all-time #1 favorite toy - and it's not even close. When we take him to the dog park, every dog goes crazy trying to chase it. They ditch their own toys. Other dog owners love it too (or get jealous).When we go to our friend's farm, I stay by the house and can launch it over 100yds into the pond. It can fly ridiculously high and travel great distances.Observations re: durability:1) Don't use as a tug-toy. That's how the tail on our first one got ripped. This toy is best for playing fetch or for catching with other humans.2) Product is well-made, but this type of toy is obviously not as durable as a solid-rubber Kong, rawhide, or nylabone.3) Our dog has a soft grip and he's never damaged the foxtail. The only damage has come from other dogs playing tug of war. A mastiff also managed to rip the stitching around the rubber core.Overall, a seriously awesome dog toy.

The media could not be loaded. My dog is a grayhound/border collie mix, was never a huge fan of playing fetch, until we bought this toy. Now, that's the only thing she wants to do. This is hands down her favorite toy. She will chase after this toy, until she is ready to pass out from exhaustion. If you have a high energy pup, I cannot recommend this toy enough because it's the easiest and fun way to wear your pup out.I have taken it to the dog park a few times, and I've yet to find a dog who doesn't want to chase after this toy. Other dog owners have asked me where I got this toy, because of how much their much their dog loved it. Then immediately pulled out their phones and bought one for themselves.Some reviews complain about this toy not being durable enough, and they do fall apart. We've gone through 4 or 5 of these in the past few months. But what dog toy that's constantly played with last forever? Dog toys fall apart. It's a fact of life. But when I consider the amount of hours we've used playing with each fox tail before it fell apart vs other toys, it's actually pretty durable.If you want to make this toy last longer, make sure you do NOT play tug-of-war using this toy. It is a death sentence for this toy.

We loved this toy! It was lightweight and traveled far with little effort. The toy does say it is tear resistant which unfortunately is not true. Our dogs like to play tug a war when they are bringing the toy back. We returned our first one we ordered and the day I received the replacement we used it. It was destroyed after 45 minutes of use. So disappointed as it is hard to find durable toys.

Great product and much enjoyment for my dogs

I have a 7-year-old Aussie/Blue Heeler that loves to fetch as much as any retriever. I have blown my arm out with the Chuck it and the Hol-ee roller ball and the launcher was more work then it was worth. So tried the fox tail. It is so easy to throw, travels a very long distance and is fun to watch whirl through the air. Plus the long tail makes it easier to find in the snow. After we are done, I wash it off and keep it out of reach. I love this toy as much as my dog does!Update - I went from 4 stars to 1 star because, after only 2 months, the tail completely disconnected from the ball portion. I threw it maybe 50 or so times and always put it away after use. So it fell apart from use not because the dog ate it. The concept of this toy is great. But it needs to last longer than 2 months!

Ripped from ball hour 1

Frenchie loves this toy. But, she’s badly damaged it in 3 days. The top is a half rubber ball sewn onto streamer. Rubber tears almost instantly. Yesterday she got two pieces of the rubber off. I do not leave her alone with this toy. The rubber is very thin and tears off. She’s also punctured the nylon Just below the ball. This toy won’t last long. $13 is pricey for toy that lasts a few days.

This toy is great for fetch. The ball is hard enough that it can’t be chewed Love how easy it is to throw and sails in the air. My dog loves it.
