I have an autistic teenager who would not stay in his seat in the car. This became extremely dangerous whilst driving with only myself and my son in the back seat. I found the Buckle Boss seat belt guard after testing other similar products that did not work for us. The buckle Boss works with any seat belt we have tried (family cars, taxis, mini buses etc) and it is super easy to use and sturdy. Some of the other similar products we tried actually broke in a matter of months because the material was not as durable. Big thumbs up : )

I have a special-needs daughter. That likes to climb out of the seat and This product works amazing. Now I don’t have to worry about that. She can still forward, but she can’t get out. We’re totally To any special needs or parent in general.

I purchased this to prevent my daughter’s car seat from being inadvertently unlatched from the seatbelt by other passengers, which has occasionally happened due to the confusing way the seat belt stems overlap in my car’s back seat. It does just what it claims to do. I feel a lot better knowing that a passenger will not accidentally unhook my daughter’s seat and put her at a huge risk in case of a crash. It was slightly more difficult to fasten the belt through the guard while trying to get a tight install on the car seat, but I managed after about four or five tries. It’s easy to unlatch the seat belt using the included popsicle stick, but you could use a butter knife, screwdriver, or anything else that’s long and thin. So why only three stars? The price is ridiculous. It is a small piece of plastic and two wooden popsicle sticks. It is not worth fifteen bucks, not by a looooooooooooong shot.

No she's not special needs, but this was great for a houdini who insisted on unbuckling herself throughout many car rides simply because we "don't like the seatbelt." I could ensure she was buckled for the entirety of the ride. Fit my buckle perfect which was a concern. Great Value, good quality, the 3d printed key can be interchanged for many things if you lose it. I keep nail clippers in my car for those pesky hang nails and the part you push down to clip fit perfectly to remove the seatbelt if I couldn't find the key. The key also has a hole for if you want to put it on your key ring. Very easy to install came with everything needed to do so. Hasn't broken yet so quite durable. Make sure you're buckling them in, and you have to unbuckle them as well which can get annoying but at least they're safe! 6 Year old was able to remove it once when we were in a rush to get somewhere and told her to buckle herself(I'm sure it was on purpose) But the velcro makes reinstall super easy!

I brought this product for my son. My son has autism and has a talent of breaking out of the seatbelt and with this product I was able to keep him in and drive around safely. This was a great buy

This doesn’t work in the backseat. When you try to buckle it, the buckle won’t fit. It will work for the front seatbelt, but not the back…which defeats the purpose.

My son is 3.5, autistic and was constantly unbuckleling his and his 2yr old sister's seat belts while I drove. This is such a simple idea yet keeps them both put. I bought 2. I don't bother using the popsicles, I go straight for my key since I have it in hand. I love them! Worth every penny.

Easy to install! Can use a key or popsicle stick to undo the buckle! The child cannot undo the belt!!! Works in my husband’s Nissan, but not in my Jeep so apparently buckles are different had to buy a different buckle guard from Amazon which did work!!!

My 5 yr old son has autism and would take his seat belt off and be free while I was trying to drive the car.. I ordered the buckle boss seat belt guard off of amazon and am very happy with my purchase. It absolutely does the job of not allowing him to undue his seat belt anymore. I bought this as well as a cushioned seat belt placement device and paired together they are absolutely wonderful. This stops him from undoing his seatbelt which is wonderful and what it’s purpose is for. But, He can be very determined to get himself free and because he cannot undue his seatbelt, he can wiggle wiggle wiggle and get himself up and slide his body u see or over the seatbelt. So I find this, paired with one of the seatbelt lap placement adjusters is the absolute best combination for this particular problem. My son is 5 years old and too heavy for a five point harness car seat to keep him safely strapped in but I could not safely place him into a regular child booster seat which uses the cars seat belt instead of the harness because he continued undoing his seat belt. So, I was in the position of having to either find a specialized extra large booster seat that also had the 5 point harness, which is incredibly difficult to find for bigger children 80 plus pounds, or instead I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best when I ordered the buckle boss and seat belt positioner. To my surprise and to my relief, it is the perfect combination and does the exact job I was needing it to do. My son is now able to SAFELY sit in his booster seat buckled in just the same as any other 5 year old boy or girl does :) the only difference is a small piece of hardware that sits on top of the seatbelt itself to buckle into. And, the seat belt positioner on his lap so that he not only can not undue the lap belt because of the buckle boss but also cannot wiggle his body underneath or overtop of the straps either:) I believe it cost me maybe around 25$ total for these two things when it would have cost me upwards of 300 to 400$ to find the specialized harness seat for bigger children. So I really am thankful. So many things in our daily life that turns out having to be a struggle and it is SO nice to have something that even tho small makes a very big difference in my son and my own daily life. No cinto do centro que tem um modelo é muito fácil de usar. Nos cintos laterais de 3 pontos o fecho tem outro modelo e tive que fechar com mais força mas funcionou Tb. Modelo hyundai i30. Podia vir com uma chave reserva de segurança.

The photo shows a bus but you cannot use it for a child riding a bus. My autistic son gets out of the one provided by the school bus company and there are no better options. I need to return this.

I liked the idea of it, but sadly doesn't seem to work for my seat belt. They fit around them, but don't seem to be deep enough? To buckle the seatbelt in.
