Program Oral Treatment for Small Dogs 14.5 - 44 Lbs.

We have 2 small dogs, so this box lasts 3 months for them. I was not sure about this when I got it, because we'd already tried everything else. But this stuff is AMAZING. I had read that some dogs vomit or have diarrhea after taking it, but our dogs did not ever get sick. They are FLEA FREE after only 2 months. I thought it would take longer to get rid of them completely, because we had a bad flea infestation. But it's summer now and at the height of the flea season, and they are NOT SCRATCHING. I see no tiny black crawlies when I groom the little poodle and the other dog sleeps soundly in a patch of sunshine without constantly being woken up by itching. I LOVE this stuff.

I've been using frontline forever but last year it didn't work very good so since I was using Nitenpyram tablets to keep the fleas at bay I thought I would try this and it works it does take 3 or 4 months to totally rid the dogs of fleas but if you spray the kennel and wash bedding soon you have no more fleas and no more greasy dogs. Once a month they get their "treat" and go to go and sometimes I'm a week late and still no fleas great stuff for our dogs.

Another disappointing product from amazon- What the heck is going on? has amazon lowered its standards? Not sure if product is expired or what cause the "use by date" is removed or covered- i guess i will never know why product does not work- i did lots of research on product and believe i am using it correctly & according to directions; also, have been using product along with regular Cap-star Tablets which i purchased from Pet Co here in Hawaii. another piece of advise, my small dog (17lbs) is a good boy and takes his medicine like a champ- however, these r not small tablets- so if ur pet gives u bad time about taking meds, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! Anyway, i would not recommend this product to anyone.

Have used Program, for years. This seller had a very reasonable price. As usual with Amazon item arrived on time. About program. We have used for years. Works very good at breaking flea life cycle. Have multiple dogs going on this. Our vet tried to get us over to Nexgard but don't want to pay the price for that. I have found this product to work as well. Novartis is a pharma you can trust.

Worked instantly! But it did give one of my dogs vomiting and diarrhea but my other dog was perfectly fine and they're the same size and breed. Worked well for us and the awful fleas our dogs acquired from some other dogs

I have used this for about 4 months and wonder if the product from Thailand was truly the Novartis product. I will buy another box through Prime and see if it makes a difference.

This product confidently DID NOT work at all on my dog for the first two months of using it, but after recently giving him his 3rd dose it *seems* to be working very well. I guess that's expected, as the instructions say to begin giving it to your dog 2 months before flea season (ha…here in California it's never not flea season). But why not just straight up SAY that? "Takes 3 months to reach max effectiveness." There!

I’m gonna go ahead and give it a five star rating even though I only started using it about three weeks ago. When I used program before I found out that it takes awhile took start eradicating fleas. I used it with the cheapest flea collars I could buy at Wally World. You know, the two or three dollar ones that you have to cut down to size. I don’t remember how long it took...several months, I think, but I noticed that there were no more fleas. I used program for at least a year, and then after awhile I just used the flea collars, and started forgetting to replace them. I got so bad about it I let the dogs and the cats go without collars for at least six months...you guessed it..we started having fleas this spring. So I’m gonna start using Program right on time and use a knockoff Frontline Plus every month, vacumn the carpet and wait for Program to do its lethal magic.
