Sounded bright like new strings do
Not too many gold strings out there. Sounded bright like new strings do. Color is right on and matches all the other gold hardware I have on my bass. Good buy!

Defective craftsmanship
DO NOT BUY! I purchased these for my bass because of price and color. Price is good and color seems to look good and hold up, but I won't get a chance to know. After reading the reviews and some comments where about the d string not tuning. I thought maybe it was just a coincidence until I trying tuning and after trying 2 different tuners, I couldn't get the d string to tune. They only offer refund if unused so now I'm stuck with a product that is unusable. I would not recommend and will not purchase again.

Color chips off quickly
I have no problem with the sound of these strings but I got them because of the color. Problem is, the color started to chip even after the first time I used them. What's the point of having colored strings if the color chips off? To be fair, the audience probably won't be able to tell. Still, it's a problem for me.

Break Like Crackers
The G string broke at the post as it was being installed. Buy better strings.
