The Blues Never Die
As with a lot of the Savoy Brown albums, these albums were a time of personnel change (except for the founder, Kim Simmonds) but the high quality of the music stayed the same. The keyboardist/guitarist Paul Raymond, who wrote or co-wrote a lot of the material, is still playing and touring with UFO which he joined shortly after these albums in 1976.

Graet packaging
With so many albums in their stable, this type of packaging and pricing makes not only good sense but incentive to purchase the whole collection, as I did.

Boogie
With Stan Webb (aka Chicken Shack) how could this lineup go wrong?

Love your jazz
Love your jazz, don't miss this one. My husband grooves to this all the time.....and the kitties seem to love it too.

Brings back great memories from the mid 70's. Simmons is great on guitar.

For Collectors
I play guitar and have been a long time Kim Simmons fan. these two CD's are more for collectors I guess, mediocre albums, Savoy Brown must have been finding their sound again after a shake up of members. Not a lot of Kim Simmons or great guitar or blues.
