No more boiling over!
Lid Sid works well! Holds the lid up just enough to let steam out so it doesn't boil over! He's only about 1.5 inches and made of rubber. It's great when you need to keep the lid from sealing the pan. No more boiling over with Lid Sid - pot lid lifter!

Sid looks cute and functional
Love the idea of Sid but haven't had a chance to test him. Gave him as a gift as well they liked him. He is very cute and appears functional. Tested and he fits on all my pots.

Got these for my dad who’s a helluva cook (and a Louisiana fireman). He really likes them and used them! They’re so cute and fun.

The figures are cute and work great! Helps keep my pots from boiling over.

Not quite as expected.
They are cute but they don't fit on the edge of a pot very well. They keep tipping over. Use a very thin-edged pot or they will dive into the food!

Ce petit gadget finalement utile cela évite le débordement sur la plaque de cuisson. Quand je mets un couvercle sur la casserole, avec ce petit bonhomme le couvercle tient mieux et cela permets de chauffer plus vite et d économiser de l électricité .De plus moins de nettoyage sur la plaque.
